I’m extremely disappointed at the service provided by Calgary Tree Experts, particularly the treatment received when I discussed my concerns with its owner, Craig. The service provided was not performed as promised as they never confirmed the time at which the job would be done but nevertheless went ahead with it. In a subsequent call with Craig, we expressed our frustration with how the company conducted their business, and demanded an on-site visit to explain the job performed as a condition for payment. Two weeks later, and after an unsuccessful attempt to arrange an on-site visit, he called again to bluntly state he was sending the invoice, that they wouldn’t do an on-site visit, and threatened to pursue legal actions if we refused to pay. After seeking legal advice, we have decided to pay the cost of this poorly performed work, as it is not worth of our time and effort. We feel Craig was disrespectful, and used an aggressive approach in each of the three phone calls. In our opinion, he did not do enough to resolve a mistake made by his company and placed the burden of finding a solution on us, the clients. I cannot find a single reason to recommend this company to anyone.
