We had a wall removed to open the kitchen to the living and dining rooms. The kitchen had previously been updated, so we wanted this reno to blend seamlessly with the existing kitchen. Alan carefully replaced this load bearing wall with a permanent beam without damaging the crown moulding or other walls. He skillfully customized an oak transition floor trim to match the 50 year old oak floors. The wall became a large island with lower cabinets which were built and finished to match the other side of the kitchen. We were impressed with Alan's ability to source materials, attention to detail and quality workmanship. He has an eye for design and offers good ideas. The project was completed on time and on budget. We were very pleased with this company and the outcome for our open concept. Attached is 1 before photo and 3 after photos.
