Although I received a fairly good price on the skylight, I was encouraged to replace my existing skylight when I didn't need to. I had a slow leak from the worn out flashing to my existing skylight and it never needed to be changed out. Simply speaking, it needed new flashing and a little repair work. I spent more money on a new skylight that never needed to be changed out. When the install was complete, I had to call the installer back 3 times to correct the job. Each and every time he came back, not only did he arrive in the night (where he could not see things properly), he continued to make things worse. Suffice to say, I have now had to hire a professional roofer to uninstall and reinstall the skylight and fix the surrounding roof where it was damaged from the original installer.
