Matt did an excellent job installing a wall in my home. He is highly skilled, efficient and dependable. I highly recommend this company.

We had an addition put on our house that consisted of a large garage and loft. Blackwood Homes was instrumental in lining up the required contractors and orchestrating the whole construction process. This turned out to be more of a challenge than expected as we started the project in the middle of the Covid epidemic. That being said, Matt and his team kept the project moving as smoothly as possible. The place was finished in a reasonable amount of time and looks great!

In 2021 Matt was doing a major renovation in a house in our neighbourhood. We were looking for a contractor to do a bathroom in our house so we took a tour of the house that Matt was working on. We were impressed with workmanship and hired him to do our bathroom.
Matt gave us a quote and a timeline and from there everything worked well. The plumber, electrician and tiler arrived on time and the work was completed in the time specified and we were extremely pleased with the final results.
Since then Matt has completed two other projects for us, a family room in 2022 and another bathroom in 2023. We have continued to be impressed with Blackwood Homes workmanship and professionalism.

The team is very talented with all aspects of construction. They moved walls, had electrical outlets and switches moved, installed drywall, painted, tiled, and built stunning cabinets. They are very skilled at making suggestions (some of which were preferable to the ideas we had planned).
