Sloppy work and poor customer service

Used the service for first time. Will never use them again. The staff showed up late due to the subway. When they were leaving I did a walk through of the property and noticed many things that were not done. I noted that the supervisor actually didn't offer to take me through their work to ensure I was happy which I would have expected as I was a first time customer with a potential long term contract.

The things that I noticed that were not done
- mudroom was not cleaned. They claimed they didn't know it was there even though it was right off the kitchen with a glass door. They had to walk through it to take the garbage out back so they could not have known it was not there
- the master bed was not made properly the pillows were just thrown haphazardly on the bed in all directions and were not aligned. The sheets were all askewed and not tucked in. The duvet was just thrown on the bed so was long on one side and short on the other
- the in shower shelves had not been washed as the bottles were all over the place
- the fire grate had not been moved so there was dust and dirt behind it whereas the rest of the living room had been mopped and swept

These are just a few of the things that were missed. When I spoke to Shannon. Her response was that they didn't have enough time which considering they were late to start is a poor excuse. When we originally agreed the job there was no time frame for how long it would take and I did state that it would be a deep clean. Time or lack of it is not an excuse for sloppy work, I would have preferred to not have it done at all or come back when they could do it properly. It is frustrating as I also expected a better response rather than blaming me for their lack of time to do and manage the also would have expected to be walked through after they had completed everything to have the supervisor explain why areas were missed. I am still finding areas that have been missed even now. In future I would prefer to walk through and meet the service beforehand to ensure we are on the same page instead of being frustrated and disappointed. I will now be looking for different cleaners and be more diligent about what they can do project.
