Gardener without a rack and proper knowledge
We hired this company to improve landscape curve appeal of one of my property. The service was over quoted then other HomeStar contractors but since he was available quick to start we hired him.
The service was not what we expected, very poor communication, He gave us the quote which included all the material but he invoiced more for extra $200 cheap soil that he ordered without taking our consent. He worked two days. Day one he worked half day with a helper and next day during a full rain he worked applying soil and grass seeds without a helper.
There is a reason why landscapers don't work during rain. he walked on good grass and killed the grass. Even my neighbor was asking me why a guy is working during rain. His quote included removing of weeds but looks like he just mow & dropped soil on top of it as weeds can be see now coming out of the soil after watering.
Part of quote included pruning of a Pine tree but we said we will need to get our neighbors consent as we were not sure if the tree is in our property or neighbors. It took one day to get the answer as they were on vacation. Next day when I told to go ahead and prune it, he started refusing to cut it and started negotiating on the payment of extra soil or leaving the tree untouched, which to me is unprofessional.
From his initial talk I was to hire for my other properties but I will not as he is hard to deal.
I will not recommend this company to any one for landscaping not sure about other. Hire only landscaper who are expert not jack of all trade.
