I found Mak by searching Home Stars for someone local to me to re-tile my fireplace hearth. Mak answered my initial call right away and after discussing some specifics, we set a day to complete the job. He was polite, worked clean and did a great job. Plywood substrate and tiles were properly mortared, "back-buttered" and is solid. All tiles are level and plumb, vertical and horizontal grout lines are symmetrical, and it overall is simply sharp and excellent tile work.

Excellent workmanship. Working with Mac was a pleasure, he was very professional patient and open to ideas. Mac worked well with our interior designer.

Mak was absolutely great to work with. We needed kitchen tiling done and Mak did an amazing job. His attention to detail, willingness to put in extra effort and ability to work with larger tiles made our Reno look great! Good communication, helpful guidance, and he clearly cares about the little details. He also made sure our home was as clean as possible at the end of each day. Solid work, on budget and a great end result. Nice to work with a professional who cares about his work. Would highly recommend.

Mak was hired to install 12"x24" porcelain floor tiles and tile backsplashes in the kitchen and a bathroom.

Mak was careful in doing his work, measurements were prescise and grout lines prefect. The clean up was excellent and the work was completed for the price he quoted.

I would recommend Mak Tile & Stone and have already done so to others who have seen the new floor/backsplash.
