MTS Custom Contracting

I would not recommend this company to anyone. They were very disorganized and dishonest through the whole, extremely long process. The project took months longer than discussed and there was no communication. The owner went completely non responsive half way through. The people they hire are absolutely not qualified. So much damage to our home. I regret hiring them.

Working with MTS was an absolute nightmare. As soon as they have your deposit, its all down hill from there. There was absolutely no proper supervision of our project. Our renovation was supposed to be well under a month, but it took them several months to do a terrible job. They destroyed several aspects of our home including our dining room ceiling below the ensuite being renovated. They not only broke through the ceiling, but the tiling was so poorly done, water leaked through creating several ugly brown spots. Not a single person we interacted with, that is employed by MTS, was qualified. Our project was left in a terrible, unsafe state that required several repairs. There were long nails sticking out of trim and storage panels. There is zero communication. You are always chasing them down to come and complete any work. We would not recommend this company nor this experience to anyone.

I signed a contract for a new deck nearly 2 years ago. A deck has still not been built. I kept getting excuse after excuse from this company, including, but not limited to: covid testing, firing his designer, being too busy, emergency-related trips. A deck permit hasn't even been applied for in the nearly 2 years since paying the deposit. I have a recorded call from the city that confirms this. This company refuses to return my deposit. The deposit is another issue. It was implied that my deposit of $1130 was toward the construction of the deck, as the deck construction was worded in the contract. $791 was for the permit and the design/drawing of the deck. This company claims I did not pay a deposit on the deck, which is also not true.

If you paid a company a deposit to build a deck and didn't have a deck after nearly 2 years, despite repeated attempts, you would be leaving the same review too. I do not recommend any dealings with this company. They should get zero stars.

We had an old dated kitchen and MTS opened it up and made it amazing!

Recently had bar cabinets , sink and laundry cabinets and sink installed. Matt and his crew at MTS are excellent workers, fast, efficient and very reliable! Very happy with the laundry and basement bar area I highly recommend Matt and his crew at MTS
