I wanted to change our shower in the basement to a bathtub and retile the floor. The shower had the drain higher than the bathtub and therefore the basement floors needed to be cut open and have new drain pipes installed. My first contractor as soon as he realized that he had to cut open the concrete just walked away saying that the work was beyond his scope. So I was in a bind and hired a second contractor to do the work quickly. He cut the floors open and stopped working on it as he had other jobs on the go. This went on for about a 3 weeks. Him promising that it will be done by the next weekend. After 3 weeks he told me that he can’t fit the bathtub through the basement door and it was impossible to install my bathtub in the basement…… booom.
At this time I have contacted Jay .He was professional and reassuring . He said that he will find a way to take my bathtub down into the basement and install it. The bathtub was in the basement the same day and Jay started his magic. He did an excellent job with the tiling of the bathroom floor too.
On a side note Jay also fixed my pocket door in the basement that hasn’t been working for the past 30 years free of charge.
