We are very happy with the quality of work performed by SureClad Restoration on refinishing our front door and garage door.

After thirteen years, the stain on the front door had faded away and Nicolas restored it beautifully. He took his time to try to match the stain as closely a possible to the original and the results speak for themselves in the photo.

Our garage door had been repainted by another person on the cheap and it did not last long. Nicolas refinished it with a proper primer and matched the colour closely as well.

Nicolas provided an initial estimate based on photos I sent to him, but he also came over to see the doors in person before finalising it. When the initial estimate needed to be changed after inspecting the doors in person, he explained in detail what needed to be revised and why. Even with the additional work and time required, it was still a very reasonable price. Work was done in a professional manner and communication was very good.

Nicolas at Sureclad was professional from start to finish. From the quoting process all the way to the completion of the work.

The work entailed turning a very minimalist and bare space (located at 1101 Cannon Street E. ) into a warm and inviting room with the wood-look effect on the walls which require a lot of preparation, patience and attention to detail. The work took a slightly longer than the anticipated timeline, but it was quite a complex process and we had no issue with that as it was clear Nicolas was taking his time making sure that he didn't rush the job and the final result was well worth a little extra time.

Everyone who remembers the space as it was before Sureclad's work, has been nothing short of amazed by how the space has changed and we're frequently asked how we managed to completely transform the space so quickly.

Nicolas was a gentleman, and an honest one. From start to finish, the experience was pleasant. He knows his trade.

I needed someone to remove the rust from my front porch railings and to prime and paint them.

When I first spoke with him, Nicolas was very polite and diplomatic. He first listened to my needs carefully.

He explained what the work would involve and warned me about certain likely inconveniences or paint issues.

Unlike with other tradesmen, he offered an itemized estimate, which CLEARLY indicated how much every part of the labour and materials would cost. Most other tradespeople seem to just gloss over that part.

He showed up exactly when he said he would. He did the work just as he said it would need to be done. The work was excellent, and I'm very happy with the results and the price, (which was very fair). Have I mentioned that I'm known for being fussy?

I would definitely hire him again for any painting/drywall/patching job where his skills were appropriate.

I wish there were more tradespeople who were like this.
