Dimitri and Bedrock Basements did an outstanding job converting our seldom used unfinished walk-out basement into an "Instagram Worthy" living space that we now use more than our main floor. The project was not a simple one and included structural changes (i.e. removing/relocating posts & widening/replacing exterior doors), adding Custom Sauna, Wine Cabinet and a massive 10'x5' island etc..

Dimitri and his crew were all extremely knowledgeable, hardworking and very neat/tidy. They all were open to accommodating last minute changes where possible as they truly were motivated to make us the customer happy.

Most important to me is that Dimitri was always just a text/phone call away even at late nights, weekends etc.. During the entire time working with him, I believe the longest I have waited for response from him can be measured in hrs (unlike other contractors who I have had to wait days to get a response).

So if you want luxury type work in a modest budget I suggest you give Bedrock a call.

Working with Bedrock Basements to have our basement finished was a professional experience from start to completion. His quote was accurate and itemised. With Dmitry making frequent visits himself, and with back-to-back scheduling of the trades - you wouldn't know they were working on other projects. The trade crews were all a pleasure to work with as they were polite and worked hard. I am normally a DIYer but wanted my basement completed in a time-frame that would of be impossible by my-self. I am very glad that I hired this job out to Bedrock as they left me with a turnkey renovation that didn't involve me lifting a single finger, no-regrets. We recently got our basement done by Dmitry and his team and we couldnt be happier with how it turned out. We had a great experience starting with the same day quote to finishing the project on time and on budget. All the team members were extremely professional in their trades and we didnt feel like we had to worry about anything. Living with construction with 2 young kids is not easy but Dmitry took care to make it as hassle free as possible. He was always available to take our call and very responsive to texts and emails and overall great to work with. I have had some uncomfortable experiences with contractors in the past so when I needed to get my basement finished, I was prepared to pay for the top rated general contractors to avoid any issues. I got many quotes and they all came out very expensive. I was prepared to pay that much but I thought I would get a few more opinions. I ended up getting a quote from Dmitry at Bedrock and was pleased with his honestly about the project. His price was much more reasonable and I decided to take a chance.

My experience with Dmitry has been great. The project finished ahead of schedule and everything was done as I wanted. As with every project, not everything was perfect but Dmitry was always willing to resolve any issues as quickly as possible, even when the project had been completed.

Overall I'd recommend Dmitry to anyone that wants good work done while paying a fair and reasonable price.

We have had nothing but a wonderful experience with Dmitry and his team. From the very beginning, he was professional and prompt in his responses. He completed the project well within his quote and timeline, which was very important to us as we were preparing for a baby due at the end of the month. All of the workers in our home were polite and respectful, we had complete confidence in his team coming and going.
