Homeload came recommended by our architect. We were building a new home and we wanted to make sure we had no issues with ventilation. We wanted to have a multi-zone system installed so we decided to spend the extra money to get a professional engineer design the system, for then to give it to a contractor for execution.
Early on during the project we noticed a few issues because there was no effort to coordinate the design with the rest of the structure of the house. We paid dearly for this lack of coordination.
Once the house was built, and we started the project to install the system designed by Homeload we noticed that there was no way to install the system in the way it was designed. The ducts were all conflicting with beams in the structure. What's even more upsetting is that we had clear requirements for the project to have the least number of bulkheads and we were assured that it was not going to be an issue.
The service after the design was provided, when we started seeing all the conflicts was extremely poor to the point that we ended up having to pay a lot more to get the system installed.
In our project we had over 40 different contractors and Homeload is one of the ones that I wouldn't reuse for my next project.
