Working with Hawk property developments has been a pleasure. We have now been living in our house for three months, and are still very pleased with every aspect of our renovation.

In 2022, we did an extensive renovation of our Toronto century home. For this project, we worked with Hawk on everything from the early planning stages (drawings and permits) to the finishing. The success of any construction project relies on skilled work and reliability. Dane Hawkins and his company have built an impressive team, with talented and organized crew members and sub-trades. 

Our renovation involved all four floors of our house (basement, main floor, second floor, and attic). It was an extensive project which involved extensive structural work, as well as a new kitchen, bathroom, and minor additions. Throughout our renovation, the whole Hawk team demonstrated their ability to tackle any project. In a hundred-year-old Toronto home, there are always surprises, and the whole Hawk team was always able to solve any problems that were discovered. On top of that, everyone on the team was consistently kind, respectful, and organized, which made working with them even more enjoyable. 

The most common challenge with renovating a house in Toronto is maintaining the budget and timeline. This is the area where Hawk excels beyond anyone we have worked with in the past. The whole Hawk team is dedicated to maintaining extremely clear communication and remaining transparent with cost and timeline at every stage of the project. Their online co-construct platform was used throughout the project to ensure that there were no surprises. We cannot stress enough how much we appreciated this part of their practice. With every renovation, there are constant decisions to be made which can affect the cost or timeline of a project. Hawk made it easy for us to understand any cost or timeline adjustments before they happened, which allowed us to stay on budget and complete our job in a very respectable timeframe.

On top of all of this, Hawk and the team have proven to us their ongoing dedication to making sure we are happy with the project. They have an excellent warranty policy, and they have already done a visit to our house to take care of a few small things we noticed since living in the house.

We would confidently refer Hawk Property Developments to anyone who is planning their next renovation.

Dane, Larysa and all the Hawk crew executed a wonderful home renovation for our family in Lorne Park. The attention to detail was impressive and the project management skills were amazing especially during covid when supply issues were indeed a variable. When we wanted to expand the project, Dane was always able to accommodate and manage the updates seamlessly into the project without distribution.
