Our large spruce tree (50 feet high) in our front yard had many dead branches, but otherwise is quite healthy. We contacted Bellwoods Treecare to remedy this situation.
This company is extremely reliable. Jon did a fantastic job; very professional. Our shrubs and smaller trees were also trimmed. All dead branches were removed. He was very courteous, and extremely efficient.

We had a large job 7+ trees and even more stumps. We were impressed by the skilled, confident removal given the challenging site, and the crew was great with the neighbors and very friendly. Pricing was fair given the scope and they came on schedule.

The only concern we had was we were unaware that we would have to manage all the leftover chipped wood from the stump removal, which ended up being a foot deep and over 12 cubic yards + extra costs.

Highly recommend Bellwoods, and glad we didnt go for the best price on a technical removal as it would have likely been a big mistake!

I first used Bellwoods Tree Care during an emergency. My 90-foot Fir tree came down one evening during a wind storm and landed on my neighbour’s roof, and the girth of the tree took up much of their backyard.

Jon and his team came by 8am the next morning. With a variety of equipment, they were able to remove the massive tree that very day. Jon returned the next day to remove the roots. Other than having a lot of extra sunlight, you could not tell a large tree had once been there.

Since then, Jon and his team have provided me with continued excellent service, pruning for large cedar hedges and pruning and thinning of other large hardwoods on our property.

Jon did an excellent job pruning our tree and trimming our backyard hedge. Both where overgrown extensively, especially the front yard tree, but now both looks pleasing to the eye and allows light down to the gardens below. Cleanup was thorough, leaving the impression they where never their.

We had to remove a tree in our back yard. The challenge was that there were both overhead and below ground cables. John from Bellwoods Tree Care was very careful, tidy and reliable.

They also helped trim an older tree in our garden and we're very pleased with the results.
