Nordik Windows And Doors

We met with a Nordik salesperson in March, 2019. We were able to get a quote on the spot, and compared to other companies we met with, it was one of the better quotes we received. Based on Nordik's thinner window design, we chose to go with them.

A few weeks later, someone came to take measurements, which was a really quick and easy visit.

Approximately 4 months later, the windows were ready for installation. We had been told it should be a 1-day job to get everything done. It ended up taking 2 days, however, the work the crew did was great and we are really happy with the end results.

There were a few challenges along the way - one day the crew was unable to find parking for their truck and left. (We live in downtown Toronto where parking is limited.) On another day they didn't come at all.

We spoke with the team in the office about these challenges and they were apologetic and understood our frustrations. I appreciated their quick responses when I reached out to them.

All that being said, the windows look awesome and are a huge improvement for us. We've already had some neighbours comment on how great they look as well. We're looking forward to the benefits new, properly insulated windows will have on our home and we've also noticed a difference in noise reduction.

The crew that did the install were careful not to make a mess in the home and did a thorough job making sure it all looked good. We were really pleased with their work.

We had four sliders installed in our house. There were areas of work that were not completed by the installers. However, these concerns were quickly addressed by the Installation Supervisor, Nick, and technician, James. Both men were polite and customer service attentive as was the sales representative, Stefan, who followed up my concerns with his colleagues.

We wanted to replace all the windows and the Patio door. We decided to go with Nordik because of their excellent reviews on Homestars.

The experience was completely professional from the start to finish. Chris came to give us a quote and worked to beat the previous quote we had been given by a competitor. His advice on window placement and type was invaluable. The installers came at the time quoted and finished 10 windows and a Patio door within a single day. They cleaned up after themselves and we have only good things to say about the quality of their work.

I would be happy to recommend Nordik for any window replacement job.

Do not use this company. They have threaten to send my contact to a collection agency even though the job hasn’t been completed and no invoice have been sent. I have a dispute over a style of door they want to give me even though i didn’t order that style. I have already paid for all the windows and was waiting for them to install three doors. They have installed one door and want me to pay for three door. I refuse to pay for door that haven’t been installed. They have taken five months to install nine windows and one door. They got the measurement for two of my windows wrong and had to remanufacture one and adjust one on site. They have postponed dates for installation three times , one the same day they were due to come. I have had to be available six times for three appointments. Complete waste of my time.

Everyone involved in this purchase was terrific.
The sales rep (Luka) was knowledgeable and personable...and no pressure! He patiently explained the needed criteria to consider for the door.
The instillation team (misplaced names) was polite, efficient and so proficient checking to make sure everything was in perfect order before leaving. They installed the hardware and cleaned up all the remnants of the old door and storm.

We were not happy with our original front door installation by a different company - until they sent Daniel to rectify the problem. He is extremely professional with an eye for detail, and a meticulous work ethic.

The experience I had with Nordik is really disappointing. The installer that came, Goran was very unprofessional. The quality of the casements are good, but the hung windows are chipped and broken at the corners. They left a ton of dust, caulking and grease on the glass and frame after install. They used exterior caulking inside and the smell is horrible, it's been a week and the smell is still strong. The servicing department has been notified and someone has come out to see what a terrible job they've done. Now we are waiting for them to resolve the situation. We will post an update later. Blown away by the quality of this installation. They installed a double door with transom, and when they were done the new door was finished incredibly professionally, caulked, and adjusted. The surrounding wall was barely touched. They cleaned up after themselves very well. I couldn't be happier with this installation. Many thanks to Shavkat!

I had gotten a few quotes and this one by far was the most reasonable. They were honest about when they could do the job and we’re able to do it a little sooner. The crew were polite and tidied up afterwards. Windows look great.

We chose Nordik windows for the large panes and small frames profile - we wanted to maximize the window panes. The insulation properties also sold us. The windows were ordered and installed in a timely fashion, according to plan. The Installation Team: VINCE, JEN, and CHRIS were friendly, (with us and our dog), courteous, and took great care to get the job done properly and professionally. They also did a great job cleaning up the mess, even working outdoors in the rain to tidy up. The windows are beautiful, open and close easily and provide noticeable insulation against outdoor noise.
