This was our first bathroom renovation after 28 years of having the builder-designed bathroom with a roman tub. Keino listened to all we want done and he took us to the supply shops to choose tiles and look at faucets and tubs. He accepted all our selections readily. He and his crew are courteous and work well. Some scheduling delays were stressful but we are happy with the end result.

The work was done professionally. The contractor provided useful advice and made necessary changes as requested.
The duration of the job was quite lengthy but overall, the job was satisfactory.

D.E.H. was recommended to us by a friend. Highly recommended as a quality contractor. More importantly, Keino (Owner) was a good communicator. Very important to us.
Water leak was identified after opening ceiling; fixed on a timely basis with absolutely no issues. Work was completed perfectly. Drywall patch was back to better than original.

Keino is a great person to work with. Will use him again if the opportunity arises.

Keino and his team did an excellent job on our bathroom and hallway renovation. Keno was extremely responsive and always willing to address any questions and/or concerns I had throughout the renovation process. His team was pleasant, efficient and hard-working: they stuck around as long as was required to get a job done and also came on weekends as required to keep the project moving along.

Keino kept me very well informed about the details of the progress throughout the process and always took the time to walk me through what the team was working on when I returned home. He asked for my input every step of the way to ensure that I was always going to be satisfied with the outcome. I always felt like I could trust Keino with his word and his judgement - he executed on every element of the project as discussed and any deviations from the original plan were considered carefully and adjusted appropriately.

We are very happy with the final product. I am meticulous about attention to detail, and have had experience working with contractors who do not do a good job of noticing 'the little things' (like ensuring hardware is hung straight, grout lines are even, paint lines are perfect, etc.) but Keino was very accommodating of my nitpicking and willing to make little tweaks to meet my (high) expectations.

I would definitely recommend DEH to family and friends and would not hesitate to use them again for additional projects we take on in this house and/or any future homes!

Keino Wilkie of D.E.H. Inc. and his team performed a superb job of repairing a crack in the patio concrete slab and repairing the step threshold very cost effectively and efficiently. His work was done meticulously and on-time. They came on-time and explained what they were doing to do for each of the job involved. It was obvious that Keino cares about his workmanship and business reputation from the way the job was done to ensure my satisfaction as a customer. Keino and his company offer a 2-year warranty on their work. After the work was completed, he and his crew also cleaned up the work area to ensure that all debris and waste was carried away. Keino's price quote was also considerably lower than other companies I had contacted.

His services in terms of pricing and work quality were unbeatable, for the work done on my home.

Keino came into my home to try and clean up some work I had done that was very sub standard. He and his crew were an absolute pleasure to have around. They were meticulous about making sure that no paint or plaster was spilled and they did a fantastic cleanup. Best experience I have ever had with a contractor and would not hesitate to recommend him.

Hired to do powder room gutting and renovation. Very affordable, professional, timely. Other contractors quoted way out of our ballpark or said they couldn’t be bothered with it. Keino and his guys came through. Very friendly, approachable with any issues, honest and straight forward. Love the final results and would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Decided to update this review as Homestars will not allow for a new review within 6 months of posting one.

As of completing our initial project (powder room / vanity) with Keino and DEH Inc, having been very happy with his company’s work, we decided to retain him for further work. Since that time he has helped us to

-replace our old carpet with new laminate, secure our loose floor boards, and lay down new underpadding and fix the trim on the floor where needed.
-fitted and replaced all the doors in our house with new 6 panel doors.
-secured our loose stairs in preparation for new carpet to be laid down.
-cut and installed new rails on both our flights of stairs
-removed the old crown molding from our living room, plastered and sanded the walls seamlessly, then put up new molding.
-placed transition strips in our basement from one room to the next.
-repaired a leak in our ceiling pipes and repaired the damaged drywall and popcorn ceiling

In short we have worked closely with him and his company helping to re-shape our old townhouse into the home we always wanted. He and his workers have always been professional in their conduct and timely in their completion of work. Whenever we had a concern about work or wanted something altered, he was more than ready to comply and help. He also helped provide suggestions and advice on how projects can be better completed and better budgeted for.

In short, me and my family have been supremely pleased with Keino and DEH Inc.’s work. We have always felt secure in hiring him, were treated fairly and professionally and have recommended him to family and friends and local neighbours. We hope to continue working with his company in the future as we do further work on the house.

He was honest and professional, work was done on time and on budget. He also kept his work area clean as he worked.
Will use him again for future projects.

I was very satisfied with the quality of the job, it was a job well done. They arrived on time and the job was finished within the time frame. They cleaned up after themselves and left only the beautiful painted walls.
