Barn demolition and deboarding and reboarding of outbuildings
Smithias contracting Tried to change the signed contract because he needed more boards for a large board shipment to the states. He was very upset that I didn't agree with it and from then on he was Very unprofessional and ignorant to myself and my family members while on my property working.
- He also decided he didn't want to continue doing work on a certain project on my property because now he has to follow the contract exactly. This consisted of removing board and baton from my barn and then refusing to replace it "because it wasn't on the contract"
-He could not provide a schedule when he was going to be on my property working throughout the month.
- His work seemed rushed and very sloppy.
-I hired another contractor to attend and fix the mistakes. He advised "he would be fired for doing this kind of work" He also advised Smithias Contracting used 2 different types of wood on my outbuildings and wouldn't age the same and would look inconsistent.
-when he removed the barn he did not have proper equipment and used his truck to pull it down with a rope.
