Phong and his crew were polite and professional. They came to redo the mortar on the front of our 100 year old house, and also mortar repair on the rest of the walls. Communication was very good throughout the the job and we definitely would recommend them to anyone!

My chimney needed to be repaired and some damaged bricks needed to be replaced by the front door. I found Brick Aid Masonry on Homestars and picked them based on their reviews. Phong and Teo were very pleasant and professional. Phong answered any questions or concerns that I had, and the job including an extra task took one day to complete. He communicated every step and kept me informed of all that was happening. He provided before and after photos of the chimney. When they were done they cleaned up the area. I am very pleased with the outcome and would recommend this company to my family and friends.

Phong and his company Brick Aid Masonsry was recommended to me when I was talking to a friend about having to have my chimney repointed. He had done some work for her and she had nothing but praise for him as a person; his honesty, work and professionalism. I reached out to him, and after some discussion and agreeing on the price, we booked a service date for him to repoint the chimney and some areas that needed attention on my home. The service date was postponed twice due to all the rain we’ve been having, but as soon as it was possible (on a Sunday no less), he came with his son, Teo, and completed the job the same day.
Before he started, he walked around with me to tell me what he was going to do, and when they were done, they cleaned up the area. He provided before and after photos, and I was happy with the work done. I can attest to everything my friend said about Phong. It was a seamless process and I would call him again if I have any masonry work to be done. I would also recommend Phong and his company to my friends/family.

Phong and Van did a great job repairing mortar that had deteriorated. They also went around the house inspecting and repairing other areas that was above the original scope of work. I would have no hesitation recommending their services to friends or family.

Phong came and assessed what was needed to complete the job. He gave me an honest quote and went above and beyond it, fixing cracks around my stairs which were outside the scope of the job. Phong is fantastic! I would highly recommend Phong and his team to anyone.

Phong was very responsive and quickly available to help resolve a leak caused by our chimney. He offered many options and price points which was helpful. Cost was less than other quotes non of which promised as thorough a job. Attitude was professional and job was finished on time.

Phong was a pleasure to work with. He installed a steel lintel with brick in an old brick opening that had only been supported by wood, and he fixed a crack in the exterior brick wall that stretched from the basement to the roof.
He completed the work quickly and was responsive throughout. He also examined all the exposed brick and mortar inside the house and made little fixes where necessary. I recommend working with Phong.

Phong and his partner were extremely helpful and came through for us in record time. We had a hole on the side of our house that needed patching right away. They matched the brick perfectly. They were very prompt, courteous, texted right away, offered a quote and came to the site on time. Will definitely call them again. Blown away by service.

I contacted Phong to do some minor tuckpointing an open mortar joint on my house. Phong also took care of some other holes in the mortar while he was here. The workmanship was great, they were quick and cleaned up afterwards. The new mortar blends in seamlessly with the exiting mortar. I highly recommend using Phong.
