Brick Aid Masonry

Phong and Van were working on parging my neighbours house; they were working between our two houses .
I walked over to ask advice about my house and they immediately took a look and showed me that while most of the work was just fine but a small area could use a a touch up .I asked if they wouldnt mind quoting the job.
I went out later in the day and they asked me to take a look and they had done the work on my house gratis!
I am so grateful for their generosity and kindness. They did a great job on both our houses and I said i would leave a recommendation . Thanks again guys

Phong fixed a massive 2 story crack up the side of the house.

Phong was incredibly professional, took the time to personally inspect current condition (where 2 other highly reviewed companies on HomeStars simply asked for pictures and blindly estimated without onsite visit), provide a detailed quote with 2 options and walked me through it / answer my questions. I highly value that he also provided a recommendation, sharing what he would do if it was his house (while also explaining merits of either option)... He gave me all the info i needed so i felt comfortable with the decision i made. He and his associate were on time, very personable, thorough in the work they did and clean up each day. They noticed 2 items not in scope - an area where bricks had previously been removed for a vent and poorly patched. He found some spare bricks i had sitting around and took it upon himself to make the wall look like new in that area. He also identified an area on my chimney that took them an extra hour to repair. in both these cases, he said he's here and able to do within the day and did not charge extra. Phong and his colleague did a great job on my project. They also tackled an additional problem which I had not previously mentioned.
Getting to my basement exit was not easy because they had to drive through a narrow alley.
Phong was great at communicating and answered all my emails and phone messages.

Phong and his crew did a great job for us, removing four courses of bricks at the top of a wall of our very tall Victorian house, then tuck-pointing, replacing bad bricks and remediating water damage.
This was a large and complicated task and Phong and his crew did fantastic, clean, and attractive work.
They always came when they said they would and the job was done on budget and on schedule.
Phong is very reasonable and easy to work with. He took very good care of us and our house and we could not be happier.

Phong had done a much larger job 4 yrs ago to re-install the stone to the whole side if our house. We were very satisfied with his quality of work,diligence and professionalism so we asked him to squeeze us in whenever possible to fill in the concrete on every small area of the foundation. He provided the same excellent level of service even if it was a very small job. We are very grateful!

We are having issues with a wet basement and our concern was that it was coming from damaged brick that needed replacing. Phong was very prompt in providing a quote and got the work done in a very efficient fashion. His communication was excellent and updated us many times during the process. At the end he went over the job and provided pictures of his work to make sure we are satisfied. Phong is a true professional and provided exception service and communication which I appreciate. Phong, Van and Teo did a great job.
I found Brick Aid Masonry on Home Star and, after reading the reviews, I contacted Phong for an estimate. The work to be done was: grinding out joints (to remove a silicon for masonry product that we used ourselves to cover the missing mortar), tuck pointing and replacing approximately 30 bricks.
Phong responded quickly, provided relevant information, a reasonable quote and a timeline.
The team (Phong, Van and Teo) arrived early in the morning. They were professional, friendly and very hard-working. As bricks similar with the existing ones were no longer manufactured, Phong had to purchase the closest similar ones. The new bricks had a different size and they had to be cut. This took unexpected time and additional work to complete the project. In addition, removing the silicon product that we used to cover the missing mortar / joints was another challenging and time consuming job.Phong, Van and Teo worked continuously and diligently throughout the day until late evening.
The team did an excellent job and I would highly recommend BAM and the team to anyone.
