Hired Ridgeline to do a roof install on a new build, including a few skylights. The general roof has not failed, as far as I can tell, but, three of the skylights installed were not properly sealed and completely failed resulting in leaking and water damage to the inside of the home whenever it snowed or rained. Ridgeline was given ample opportunity (more than 6 months) to come out and fix the problem. They took 3-4 weeks to actually show up after multiple complaints to Shayne, one of the owners, and came out 3-4 times over a 6 month period. Each time they tried patchwork fixes (gobs of silicone) to solve the problem. Pathetic. I became so frustrated and completely distrusting of their competency and skill that I hired another roofer, who within 5 minutes was able to determine the work on all skylights was completely shoddy. They fixed my skylight problem by taking apart the whole thing and re-doing it, and in the 18 months since then and multiple snowstorms and rainstorms, absolutely no problems. What one company can do in one assessment and fix, versus another. Do not hire Ridgeline.
