If your cabinets are in good shape and you just want to freshen them up, it’s tempting to DIY. But after having seen the results of True Blue’s efforts and the amazing results they achieved, you’d be crazy to think you could do the same. Kent was onsite for days, painting coat after coat, into every nook and cranny, beautiful coverage. And Okko methodically removed all door fronts, hinges, pulls, and closers (and put them back in the EXACT same places), before taking the fronts offsite for catalytic lacquer spraying. The finish on the doors is perfection, with a subtle sheen and smooth surface – I didn’t know it was possible to get old doors looking so amazing, and there’s no way that could have been achieved with onsite spraying.
The process is an initial quote on photos, if interested then a followup in-person visit by Okko, door removal and spraying by Okko, onsite painting by Kent (fairly high fumes the entire time, and for days after), and door replacement/adjustment by Okko. For us it was roughly a 2 week timeline (not including estimates) and they’re quite busy so expect to book at least several months in advance. Heads up that Okko is forthright and will state clear expectations and limitations - if you need someone warm and fuzzy, it won’t be a good fit for you.
