Whitby Garage Doors was very professional and the only company I considered using. Brandon the salesperson was very helpful. Nick, who did the installation, was polite and extremely hardworking in a 35+ degree garage. He was very personable and went through all my questions.
I was unaware/forgot (not sure which one) that the capping was done by someone else but when I called about it an appointment was setup within the week by Brandon which demonstrated how much the company cares about its customers.
The garage doors look amazing and my wife and mother-in-law are happy with them and those are two tough ladies to please.

Screen door looks great and functions great. I love the privacy screen being able to see out and nobody in. Very pleased with the product, level of service I receive. Would recommend this for anyone that spends time in their garage and wants to avoid the bug season and get fresh air.

I called to have my garage door opener repaired. Brandon gave me some trouble shooting advice over the phone before having to book a service call. However, a service call was required and Brandon arrived the next morning on time. He was able to promptly repair the door opener and explained to me what was wrong. Brandon was professional and knowledgeable and I am keeping Whitby Garage Door Ltd. on file for any future garage door repairs. I will be replacing my garage doors in the near future and will certainly include them on my list of quotations.

The entire process was completely easy and pain free when dealing with Whitby Garage Doors. The sales rep Chad came to my home and provided me with a quote. He was very friendly, upfront, honest and made several recommendations which best suited our home. I had a number of questions which I sent via email ... Chad and Brandon replied in a timely manner. My garage door opener broke on Thursday. I called Friday morning and Chad was able to send Ryan the same afternoon - great service so we didn't have to wait until Monday! Ryan replaced the spring quickly and professionally. I would definitely recommend Whitby Garage Doors and would personally use them again.

Spring and cables snapped on one of our wooden sectional door. Called at 9am and got a service truck at 3pm (came right away from a job in Bomanville). 20 min. to finish, balance and lube both my garage door hinges and springs. Great service at a very fair price.

Our garage doors are pretty old and clunky. One of them has been extremely difficult to open since we moved here 3 years ago, so we weren't even using it. We knew we wanted an automatic opener installed and figured we'd have the door fixed at the same time. Two other companies came to give us quotes: one told us we needed brand new doors and that the 'broken' one couldn't be fixed, and the other company told us we couldn't even have an opener installed due to the presence of a loft/storage area above our doors. We actually gave up until we saw Whitby Garage Doors at the Durham Home Show and asked them to come check it out.

Not only did they reassure us the door could be fixed AND an opener installed, they also gave us pricing options for new doors but let us know that it really wasn't necessary and ours were in good condition. Their honesty and non-pushy approach really impressed us.

They came today and installed our belt-drive opener and fixed the door in under 2 hours. It works great, it's super quiet and most importantly we now have use of the newly fixed garage door we've been avoiding for 3 years! I wish we'd know about this company sooner, we would have saved ourselves so much trouble. We definitely recommend this company and are very satisfied with their customer service as well. From the time we're made the call to the end of service all we saw was professionalism and knowledge in the work. Brandon Sloan told us he will be at our place at 7.30 am and he was ! On the dot !!! He walked in and within minutes started working, explaining us all the way on what he was doing.
