I contacted SHD because my family was in desperate need of help in moving my parents out of their home of 50 years. Best call I have ever made. Mary and her team were kind, respectful, worked very hard and made sure my parents understood every step of the process. Mary also went above and beyond several times during the move. My first packers had me as a double booking and my stager recommended Simply Home Downsizing to the rescue. I was under a deadline to get my house on the market and I needed help. Simply Home Downsizing were pros from start to finish. I paid extra to have other drop offs and donations done on the way to my locker where I could triage again. They will be back to my locker to repack and list items for my overseas part of the move. Their team was efficient and organized. I felt so much relief when my my whole house was packed in 3 days.

Rosalind did a fabulous job of coordinating each step of the staging process for us. The teams (stagers, cleaners and movers) were exceptional. The end result was that our place looked spectacular and we were able to sell it quickly.

I am a busy full time work from home Mom and for the last two years have been putting off the inevitable task of purging, cleaning out and organizing my closets and storage areas. The great purge was incredible and really gave me a chance to review what I actually use and everything else that needed to be donated or tossed. I had some bulky and heavy furniture items that were useless to me and a pain to get rid of, but not an issue for this team! Mary organized a truck and team of muscle that arrived and took those items away, done and done. After everything was purged came the overwhelming part for me – putting it all away thoughtfully and organized. The Team used their expertise and took on ALL the work there as well. They organized each closet and space and I am impressed with their ideas and organizing systems. So nice to have Professional Organizers take the lead and bring a fresh prospective. The whole experience took a day and I still can’t believe how much was done! I am over the moon with the incredible services that were provided and I can’t recommend them enough! It is a rare pleasure to be able to sing the praises of a company such as this. After my Mom passed away in December, I was faced with dealing with all her possessions and condo. I went through her papers which was
no small task given that my Mom threw nothing out. I had to get rid of
everything, paint and stage the place. Furthermore, some repairs were necessary. I knew I could do it, but it would take me a long, long time. I went online looking for staging companies and came across Simply Home. They had great reviews and after checking their website, I found they do everything, getting rid of stuff, storing stuff, repair work, painting,
cleaning and staging.
I sent an email, got an immediate response. I hired them on February 3. They said they would be done by February 17. As it turned out, despite a major set back requiring repair work, Mary and Rosalind pulled it off.
They did so expertly, efficiently with good cheer and a can do attitude.
They made a difficult job easy. They even found someone to buy the furniture and artwork to resell.

From our initial estimate visit to the final closing of the door, Pauline and her team were professional yet friendly, and completed the job quickly and thoroughly! The team was also careful to check with us regarding any personal items that may have been important or significant. The whole process relieved much of the stress involved in moving our father into a retirement home.

Simply Home did a careful and thoughtful packing of items we needed to donate or sell, as well as some item we were keeping. Then they removed some heavy items to our garage from which they then removed both those items and much other material including trash and some items for donation. They were efficient and quick, as well as congenial and helpful.
