Solid Eavestrough

Downspout had detached at second story level of home due to thunderstorm/wind. Not related to storm but guttering above porch needed securing with brackets rather than nails which were not supporting properly. Emailed a number of contractors with photos and Yaron responded very quickly via phone. Based on the pictures he quoted on the cost and provided a time he could come and fix the next day. Additionally there was some caulking I asked about but he advised against it saying the location would likely cause the caulking to split again quickly in the winter and would not be cost effective. Yaron showed up the next day and I was happy with the work done.

Yaron was very professional and worked with my schedule to setup an appointment. His quote was very accurate for the repair. He finished in under 1hr for a very difficult 3 story repair and securing a loose downspout. Will recommend Solid Eavestrough to all friends and family who need to replace or repair their eavestrough.

My eaves on one side of my house had become detached and looked like it would fall at any moment. I was panicked and looked for someone local near my Thornhill home and was incredibly lucky to have found Solid Eavestrough. My call was immediately answered by Yaron who confidently seemed to know exactly my issue I was describing to him and said he could come later the same day. I had a good feeling about him right away, but I'm not one to make a quick decision. He calmly suggested I shop around if I wanted to and I could call him back if I'm still interested in his services. No pressure tactics, no remarks to make me feel rushed. I called a few other companies and all had similar quotes, but I went with my gut and called Yaron back. He again answered his phone immediately, which I so appreciated, and confirmed that he would come same day as he originally told me. Yaron showed up when he said he would and took a look at my eaves and said he sees my issue all the time and went right to work getting set up to do his thing. I felt at ease with him as soon as he arrived and more importantly I felt that I was in good hands and he was going to do a good job for me and indeed he did! Yaron skillfully resecured my eaves, installed brackets, which I had never had before, and inspected the rest of the eaves to ease my worries and let me know if everything else was okay. I was so impressed that I wanted him to fix every other issue I had with my house, but sadly he only does eavestroughs. Over the last few rainfalls in the GTA have been quite intense and the gutter at the rear of our home was overflowing. I wanted to address this right away as if these types of issues are not fixed it can lead to foundation and other issues with water damage.

The day of the appointment could not have been any easier! Yaron showed up and promptly addressed that the gutter had a blockage of a loose single and leaves from one of the recent storms! He also throughly cleaned and checked the entire gutter system of the remaining house. He as well helped to address an issue I was having with garage facia!

Initially I was looking for someone to fix the pulling away gutter. Yaron was the first one provided detailed solution and reasonable quote. After he came in to do the work, I just kept looking for more works for him, secured the downpiple, sealed the chimney cap, and he finished everything beautifully, with very friendly attitude.

During the recent heavy rains I noticed the eavestrough leaking at the front of the house so I called Solid Eavestrough based on the excellent Homestar reviews. Yaron answered immediately, gave me a quote and was fixing the problem all within a couple of hours and in the pouring rain. He cleaned the downspout, installed brackets and leaf guards on the front of the house and offered suggestions on other problems I'm having with areas of the roof. He's very personable & knowledgeable and there was absolutely no pressure which I greatly appreciate. I highly recommend him and will be using this company again.

I got in touch with Yaron because my regular ivy trimmer failed to show up last fall and new spring growth was beginning to cover the windows. He replied immediately. Yaron kept me posted about when he would come (the weather has been changeable). He worked on the ivy for over three hours, trimming it well back from the windows and eaves. He very carefully removed some dead ivy from the house without any damage to the underlying stucco. Many thanks, Yaron!

Yaron was responsive and called me back the same day after I submitted a request for a quote on his website. He told me he would be able to come out in two days to repair my gutter and to send him some pictures. My gutter at that point was being held up by two or three screws, and once he saw the pictures he called me back and said he would come the same day to repair it. He was concerned that the gutter would fall off before he could repair it and said the charge would be a lot higher if it fell off and a new gutter installation was required. I totally appreciated that because you don't find that type of concern in a lot of contractors and in the end the cost was very reasonable. He put the screws back in and installed the brackets and even reattached my downspout that had become unattached. I would highly recommend Solid Eavestrough!

Yaron is fantastic and this is the second time he’s done repairs for me. He communicates immediately and attended my home on the same day I contacted him both times.
