Nice enough guy, not great at his job.
2 years ago we had a home we were purchasing inspected by Henry and I wish every single day that we had gone with someone else. I have purchased many homes in the past, had many different inspectors and never have I had to deal with so many missed issues. I was skeptical at the end of his inspection due to the fact the "list of issues" was extremely small but we were met with a resounding "its a great house" yet we havent stopped chasing issues since. We had reached out before to voice our concerns and were quickly met with a "that wasn't part of my job" (when it absolutely was) and " how was I supposed to know that" or a lovely "oh I didn't notice". I take no pleasure in bringing light to someone's short comings but all he seemed interested in doing while inspecting our house was talking to the people in it, he was a nice enough man but not good at his job. Leaks, wires, unattached attic fans, major eavestrough issues that have now left us with bylaw notices, mouse holes, fence issues, ventilation issues, just a good old laundry list of stuff to fix and replace because 1 person didn't do their job.
