Condo Renovation - Framing for Kitchen and Barn Doors, Electrical Re-Wiring, Windor Door Replacement, Smooth Ceiling, Moving Venting for Stove

Condo Renovation - Framing for Kitchen and Barn Doors, Electrical Re-Wiring, Window Door Replacement, Smooth Ceiling, Moving Venting for Stove - 1000 SQ FT Condo ( 2 Bathrooms, Kitchen Cabinetry, Railings and Painting was all done by other workers).

I think what speaks for the whole experience is that none of the contractors are responding to my emails, phone calls or anything anymore. This despite the fact I've paid him a significant amount of money and the two people living in this unit works for the person who recommended this company and does commercial business
with them.

I think the following bullets cover it all:
a) the electrical work is not complete (see pictures) and Peter refuses to fix it (his first excuse is that his people are in Hamilton, then the electrician's mother passed away and now silence)
b) he is not responding to emails and phone calls
c) to fix all this stuff is probably $1,000
d) at first, he said the elecrical work wasn't his but his people admitted in an email that the cabinetry had to be put in first
e) I asked for pictures of his work so we would know where the framing and to this day, he still has only given 3 pictures. When I called his people out for not doing work, they miraculously had pictures proving their work

In the end customer's are always right and as far as Peter is concerned, only Peter is right. You would expect that as a GC, you would follow up with any problem and aim to get it resolved. My guess is that the company is all about money and now they have a lucrative contract, they don't care about the small guy. As well, his ego is so big he didn't like anyone questioning his work. I always question work so that I can better understand what needs to be done in the future. This is not my first reno nor will it be my last. So whether Peter treats his commercial projects different from his small projects, is subject to interpretation but after he got his money and a new contract in Hamilton, he has no time for me. He is the poster-boy for the bad reputation contractors get.

I am done with these guys and the energy he is wasting in my life. Don't use them and you can save your self a lot of heartache.

Approximate cost of services:
$35,000.00
