I recommend Lloyd Empires to everyone I know. Since moving to Ottawa almost 8 years ago I have moved several times and have used Lloyd Empires each time. The owner, Mike, is a hardworking, down to earth guy whose mission is to make your move safe, fast and easy. In fact, I recently purchased my 25+ year home and will be contacting Mike and his amazing team to move me into my dream home.

I can't say enough positive words about Lloyd Empires Moving. I have had many, many moving companies in the past, and this time, I really needed a company I can trust to move my contents with care. Lloyd Empires not only came to my home to give me an estimate, but they promised to take good care of all my possessions, and they did exactly that! If I ever make another move, Lloyd Empires will be the only company I will go with. They dismantled a very heavy glass dining room set, and put it back together for me, without a scratch. All the men were not only pleasant, cheerful and very respectful, but also exceeded my expectations of knowledge and expertise. Thank you Lloyd Empires for a GREAT moving experience. By the way, the final cost was BELOW the estimate, which is always a nice surprise. I was also worried about moving from a house, into an apartment, given there was only one elevator, but the movers knew exactly what they were doing and did it with ease, compared to some companies I have seen. I highly recommend this company to anyone in need of moving services!

The professionally attired company employees showed up on time. They seemed experienced and knew what they were doing. They packed furniture in blankets moved everything without damaging furniture, floor or walls. I was happy with their service.

I was very impressed with Lloyd Empires moving. From the initial phone call with Mike to receive a quote & schedule a time (polite, patient, genuine); to the excellent movers (punctual, polite, quick, efficient) I was very pleased with the service I was provided with. I will definitely call them up next time I move in the future!

After contacting many moving companies within the Ottawa area I came across Lloyd Empires Moving & Delivery. To my surprise the owner was very polite, a good listener, and replied to all questions I had.
The owner came to our place and spoke to me in person about all concerns.

I found the employees worked well together and also very polite. Everything was wrapped in padded quilts. The couch and chairs were plastic wrapped. The mattresses were put into mattress bags and wardrobe containers were also
provided.
They were very efficient and I was impressed by how fast everything was being loaded into the truck.

The price was a flat rate and was hundreds a dollars less then other Ottawa companies.
The owner is honest with pricing with pricing.

If I was to move again I would call Lloyd Empires in a heart beat.

We used Lloyd Empires for two local moves. Mike is professional, efficient, and helpful. Mike came to our house, did an estimate, and provided helpful tips for packing. the movers arrived right on time and finished the job ahead of schedule. Great local company.

Booked the move online, without the hassle of a home visit. The movers arrived on time, were both very friendly and professional, and got the job done in a bit less time than estimated, despite the ridiculous heat of the day.

The Lloyd Empires team moved us this past month. It was a very large and difficult job, but the workers demonstrated remarkable strength and endurance and had great positive attitudes all around. Great care was taken and we felt that the team did their best to ensure everything arrived safely.
Due to the difficulty of the job, there was a significant difference between the initial estimate and the final amount of work that was required. After some discussion with Mike, we were able to come to an agreement that we were both happy with. I was very pleased with the work, the professionalism, the attitude of the workers, and the overall experience.
