Avenue Road Masonry

The ceiling on our bay window was leaking. Ave Rd Roofing came to inspect and found that the water was getting in through the cracks in the stone work so they arranged for their Masonry team to come. A detailed quote for the work was provided and schedule confirmed. The Masonry team arrived on time, worked very efficiently and inspected/repaired other cracks that could potentially cause problems in the future. Our house was built in 1922 with all the original stone work in place. All work was thoroughly explained to me. Everything was cleaned up afterwards. I can highly recommend this company.

I had a leak into my house from one of my chimneys which had been tuckpointed several years ago. Quote was given in two days and, as the job was quoted to take 2-4 weeks, they kindly came and tarped up the chimney to stop further water leakage. The quote for the first chimney was very reasonable so I decided to proceed with the second, as both chimneys are 60 years old. Chris, Chris, Robert and Bobby were all so professional, pleasant and cleaned up after themselves. Job was completed on time and I would not hesitate to call them again for masonry or roofing. Well done!

I had some problems with my chimney and I couldn't have gotten better service. They phoned and showed up the very same day I requested a quote. The work was done a few days after and the work was excellent. I've used Avenue for my roof and now for this masonry work. I would give them the highest recommendation possible. I had a leak in my ceiling - thought it was from my roof. I called Avenue Road Roofing. Turns out it was my roof was fine, but my chimney that was falling apart. Chris, from Avenue Road Masonary, came right out and diagnosed the problem immediately. He determined that I didn't need the chimney anymore (no working fireplace, no need for the venting) and suggested it be removed. The removal took place in one day, the guys were very neat, professional and best of all in the next storm I had no leak! Chris also suggested that I get tuckpointing (which I had to google to understand!!). I am very pleased with the work. My bricks look so much better now (the colour matches perfectly) . While it was an expensive process it was money well spent and I'm completely satisfied with the job!

Avenue Road Masonry did an excellent job reconstructing our porch. They were honest about the costs from the beginning and walked us through the entire process. They kept the area clean, were always there on time (and usually early) and stayed to make sure the work got done. We have had to do a lot of work on the outside of our house and this was by far the best home improvement experience we've had. Would recommend them highly.

I just had my Avenue Road Masonry to replace many old bricks that were broken and fall apart. The crew was very professional and polite. Did a good solid job, I am very pleased with the work. Rob and his team did an incredible job replacing our chimney, adding new flashing and shingles and a beautiful cement crown. It looks better than it ever did. It is a 1950s home and the bricks match beautifully. They worked long into the night (in the dark) to ensure they were finished in order to water proof it having kept on top of the wet weather predicted so they could come back and finish the flashing. They showed up on time with a team of skilled craftsman. We are so pleased with the results. It improves the overall look of our home.
