Continental Brothers Construction Inc. (Victor, Hung and Benny) recently completed our basement reno project and they did a great job. The quality of their workmanship is excellent and they are very professional and courteous group of people.
They completed the project within the time they originally committed and we are very happy with their work. We highly recommend them for all types of renovation work.

After interviewing and receiving quotes from a number of contractors we decided to hire Victor and Continental Brothers. Our first impression of Victor was totally correct. He is knowledgable, has good ideas and, above all, is very patient with ever evolving requests. Continental Brothers turned what used to be a functional but pretty basic bathroom room a really lovely space. I'm particularly happy with the tile work in both the bathroom and powder room. This is not our first renovation but it is by far the easiest to have lived through. Victor and his crew are very knowledgable, efficient and fast and, above all, clean and tidy. We totally recommend them!

I interviewed and received quotes from many top rated contractors on HomeStars to finish our basement. We ended up choosing Victor because he seemed very accommodating, made smart suggestions, and his price was very competitive. We are beyond pleased that we chose Victor!

We'd love to give him 6 stars if it were possible. He not only did a superb job and did it in a timely manner, he often went beyond the call of duty to help with suggestions for repair works on main floors and helped facilitate some of those works. Our basement looks better than the main floors now! The quality of his work was impeccable - he is a perfectionist, and it really showed in every detail. He spent a lot of time explaining things to us, and making sure we were happy with the tile selected, etc. If only all contractors were like Victor! He is hard working, honest and a gentleman.

I asked Victor if he would be interested in installing backsplash, it was a small job compared to what he typically does but regardless he was accommodating and squeezed me in. The instant I met Victor I could tell he was very professional, experienced and competent and I was right. Benny from the team was amazing! He never complained once when I requested additional favours and always with great patience and care. I’m just sorry I didn’t meet them before I started my Reno but Continental Brothers will most certainly be my go to guys and without hesitation recommend them to anyone.

We have had intentions to complete our basement for years. We procrastinated, but it was greatly impacted on trust. Constant concern over hearing about the nightmare experiences of others, we were completely on the fence with our guard up to trust anyone to do work in our home. In addition, having high expectations in the quality of work and overall work ethic.

After searching for months, interviewing multiple contractors, evaluating their portfolio’s and budget, we decided to roll the dice with Victor and his team.

From the beginning of the project, right through to the end, Victor and his team completely alleviated all the stresses of a home renovation with amazing communication, workmanship and work ethic.

There were no surprises. There was no BS. They kept us informed. They were on time. They were on budget. They are skilled. And more importantly, they were professionals.

Also, they were easy going and pleasure to have around. Especially during the World Cup!

I can go on and on and on. The bottom line, this experience with Continental Brothers could not have had a better ending. We are completely in love with our new space. The pictures don’t do it justice!

Continental Bros turned our cave of a basement into a beautiful, bright and airy space. We now have an extra 900 sqft of living space! Which includes: 1) a pretty large open space, with extra shelving on a nook, 2) a bedroom that comfortably fits a queen size bed, two large night stands and a good size reach-in closet, 3) a three-piece bathroom with high quality finishes and a tempered glass door for the shower, 4) an enveloped "machine room", 5) a large storage closet, and 6) additional storage space under the stairs.

Victor and his team delivered on the agreed-upon timeline, stayed on budget, and the finished product exceeded our expectations. The team was professional and polite at all times. Excellent work ethics. They worked usually Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with Victor staying behind on occasion to show us the progress, discuss challenges and/or check with us if a decision was needed. The painter was even willing to work on a weekend to accelerate completion, because they were aware of our required timeline.

Victor prepared our quote, offered helpful suggestions to improve the use of the space, and provided a reality check for some of the ideas we had for the basement. He continually communicated via e-mail or text messages if anything needed to be discussed. Since Continental Bros did such a great job with the basement we even engaged them for other repairs/upgrades around the house and they offered us very reasonable costs.

Would I recommend them? Absolutely! Would I use them again? Yes. We have some other home projects in our To Do list and will definitely contact Continental Bros in the future for them.

Continental Brothers Construction Inc. did an excellent job in renovating our basement. Apart from their superb workmanship Victor and his team were clean, courteous and trustworthy. Our basement was completed on time. The completed job more than lived up to our expectations. The basement (particularly the bathroom and stairway) look beautiful. Victor was a pleasure to deal with while Continental Brothers painted our home. We had pot lights installed by another company who left 15 holes in our drywall. Victor managed to send someone to patch all the holes at the last minute to meet our timeline to get all the painting done. His communication with us throughout the process was great, would definitely recommend!

The Continental Brothers came and turned our dungeon into a livable space that included a gorgeous bathroom with privacy glass shower. The main area was most open-concept with plumbing in place to add a small kitchenette at a later time.

The gents were always on time, worked till 5.30 daily and very efficient at getting the meat & potatoes of the job done! We were always surprised to go downstairs every night and see the changes. They pay attention to detail and are always open to hear any changes or requests as well as give their own advice or recommendations. My wife and I had a great working relationship with these contractors and their price is very fair considering the amount of work completed.

We did our research by getting many quotes and listening to many contractors but going with Continental Bros was the best economical choice for our wish of having the basement completed. Now we have an extra floor of space that is comfortable and quiet and it adds value to the overall house and being useful in our daily lives.
