Time was up for our 20+ year old driveway. Our 60+ year old concrete sidewalk and backyard patio slab were unfortunately doing a pretty good imitation of the Leaning Tower of Pisa! We are so pleased we chose Anthony Paving to handle our paving and excavation work. They were outstanding! They completed a full excavation of the driveway sub base and also widened the driveway, installed a new base and a few weeks later, new pavement. The finished product looks amazing! They also removed our concrete sidewalk and backyard patio slab, along with some major roots from a tree we had removed years ago, and completed the excavation and installation of the base for our new sidewalk and substantially enlarged backyard patio. Their pricing was competitive, but it was their professionalism and pride in their workmanship that set them apart from other contractors. It was a pleasure working with Anthony Paving!

I had used Home Stars for all my other projects around the house and decided after 6 different quotes to choose Phil Anthony Paving back in August 2019. As you can imagine, most paving companies that weren't already booked solid for the year would raise some questions and seeing the solid reviews on Home Stars, we decided to wait until May 2020 and be the first on the list for Phil and his crew. They did not disappoint. Not only did they make recommendations on excavation and paving that the others didn't, they were still highly competitive in comparison with it being incorporated. When Phil came back to check out the job one last time in the New Year, I had asked about quoting on concrete pad and fencing installation, both of which he was able to have someone come and complete - and matched the others quotes! No need to go to anyone else. Here's a one stop shop and they truly care about the job being nearly completely family run, you can tell they care about the name on the truck and their reputation. Our old driveway was cracked and had tire furrows in it because of a poorly prepared substrate. We contacted a number of companies but decided on hiring Anthony Paving to replace it.
They gave us an estimate for resurfacing or complete removal and rebuild. We went with latter as it was obvious once the old asphalt was removed that the original work was shoddy.
It’s easy to say Phil and his team did a great job, but one of things we feel sets them apart from other companies is that they work hard and take pride in what they do. It’s a family business and Phil, his brother and dad are courteous, diligent and careful, as are their team, and they promptly answered any questions we had before and during the process and provided us with advice on how to maintain and safeguard the new surface.
It’s been a tough time for everyone during COVID and they respected the social/physical distancing.
We truly appreciate their commitment to meeting our needs and requirements and highly recommend that you call them for your paving needs.

Phil and his team were just amazing from start to finish! They took the time to regrade our driveway (and now, after 17 years), finally no leaking basement! They had to do a good chunk of it by hand, given our driveway is narrow. But there was no complaining, and no cutting corners because it was hard work. Instead they went the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect! They even reset our landscape rocks at the side of our front garden bed. They swept the road, and our property after each visit. In short, you can not go wrong if you hire them!

Great job done on the driveway, nice thick layer of ashpault. They completed the job very efficiently as well.

I needed to replace my existing asphalt, I called several companies to get a quote. Phil was working close by and came right away to look at my driveway and answer my questions. He is an absolute professional In every way..very polite, understanding and answered all my questions and offered options that I had not considered. Phil returned my calls right away and stayed in contact throughout. The city had to replace my culvert pipe (which took almost 3 months) and Phil checked in with me regularly. Once the pipe was replaced, Phil was able to schedule me in right away and did a fantastic job on my driveway. I highly highly recommend Anthony paving, best choice I ever made.

Repaving the driveway was the last of a long list of projects we completed to our home in the last 2 years. Anthony Paving were among the best contractors I worked with. Our driveway is long and narrow in between two houses making the job more challenging. Other paving companies rejected it outright.

The quality of their work is amazing. The result is great, the driveway doesn't just look nice but it also diverts rainwater away from the house and avoids any pools.

They came 3 times; first to remove the old driveway, then to replace the rock below to ensure there is a proper foundation and grating, and finally to lay the new asphalt. At every stage, they were exceedingly courteous and professional.
