Golden Valley Decks

We met Ryan in September 2019 and instantly liked him for his courteous, professional demeanour. Unfortunately, by the time we figured out exactly what we wanted for our new deck, Ryan was already booked for the year. Dissatisfied with our interaction with some of the other companies later in the year, we decided to contact Ryan again in early 2020. We are sooo glad we did.
Ryan is a complete professional. He was very prompt, responsive and attentive to our needs. He not only
addressed all of our many questions and concerns but also put them in practice with his attention to detail, neatness and thoroughness of job at hand. He honours his word and time commitment like no other. From our first call to our last, Ryan was always on time. In spite of the sweltering heat on the first two days and stormy, rainy weather on the third day, he and his teammate finished our deck in three days as promised.
We are very happy with our new deck and would like to thank Ryan and his teammate for shaping our deck plan into reality!! Needless, to say, you will always be highly recommended!!

We are quite indecisive and takes us long time to find the right person for any renovation project. After a number of quotes, we have searched HomeStars and decided to reach out to Golden Valley Deck based on other reviews. Ryan replied back the same day with a quote. When we met, he consulted us on making some corrections to our design and, as we see now, he was right on every single suggestion. It was important to us to start the project as soon as possible and Ryan made it happen earlier than agreed to on paper. The entire build took 5 days only (no breaks, no disappearing as we often hear about, but steady progress and timely completion). It took some time for our hot tub to arrive (see pictures). When it was placed on the base, we asked Ryan to come back to a small adjustment to ensure transition from deck to the hot tub is seamless. He came just an hour after our call. We are very pleased with the quality, speed and reasonable price. Thank you, Golden Valley, for your work!

Extremely happy with the demolition and rebuild of my deck. Ryan and his teammate worked tirelessly and festidiously (on some of the hottest days of summer!) to provide a beautiful composite deck. I was impressed with the quality of materials used, incl. cedar for the framing. Ryan is very responsive and accommodating. He stood by his quote even when the original products became unavailable due to Covid. Highly recommend Golden Valley!

Ryan (and team) from Golden Valley did a fabulous job on our backyard deck! In the planning stages, he was incredibly responsive to all of our questions and ideas. He was also helpful in making our dream deck fit within our budget. The current Covid situation meant the deck boards we had picked were on back order, but he made it happen for us in good time with a replacement we like even better. Ryan was very professional and finished the job sooner than he promised ( only one week). We are very happy with his amazing work that he and his teammate has done. Ryan and crew were very professional throughout the project, and while job started slightly later due to COVID delays, they finished the entire job in the course of 3 days and blew us away with their workmanship, tidiness, and great project management. Place was left in impeccable condition, and the deck has been a great addition to our backyard. Ryan, thank you for your professionalism.

They tore down a very large older deck and built a new one that was an exact replica. The work was done on time and on budget and with care. It looks great and feels much more solid than the one it replaced. Excellent work by courteous careful people. Recommended.

We’re extremely satisfied with the work of Golden Valley Decks. Ryan built exactly to our specifications and it looks fantastic. I got 4 quotes and Golden Valley was somewhere in the middle. They provide a 3D design to give you an idea of what to expect and I had specific instructions that were all followed to the detail. Definitely would recommend Golden Valley.
