Throughout the entire process, Simon was extremely helpful, responsive, professional, and an absolute pleasure to work with!

I had my entire main floor hardwood replace (previously was builder grade), and Simon / his team did a fantastic job. I also had Aria vents installed which look amazing! They showed up on-time, were efficient, and did a beautiful job in my home.

As a second project, I had Simon and his team come back to refinish my stairs which included re-staining the treads, painting the runners and stringers, and installing a brand new railing. I couldn't believe the work that was involved - they took their time and made sure of every detail throughout the process.

I couldn't be happier - highly recommend Simon and his team!!!

I used SB Hardwood in Feb 2022 to replace my original stairs and railings in my 1997 house. They first provided a reasonable quote. They then tailored their timing to mine as I was taking an extended vacation. Simon was very communicative in replying to me always promptly. They arrived on time every day, worked hard the entire day, patiently answered my numerous questions and went out of their way to please. They constantly kept me aware of their progress, informed me in advance when I couldn’t use the stairs for brief periods, and made sure the stairs and railings were secure every night so I wouldn’t get injured. The result was absolutely stunning and I couldn’t be happier. If I could give them more than 10/10, I would! Such a pleasure to
deal with and efficient, respectful and meticulous in their work. Please ignore the walls in the pictures as the beige has not been repainted a light gray yet.

Simon & team did an excellent job by changing carpeted stairs to Hardwood stairs. They came on time and finished the project in a weeks time. Very neat and tidy job. Great guys to trust and get your work done.

Simon and his team did an excellent job of installing hardwood floors on the second floor of our house. From start to finish, the entire project was handled highly professionally. Simon provided a reasonable quote, gave us a firm date on which they could start the project and kept the promised timeline. Matt from their team started the job on time, worked incredibly hard, barely took any breaks (even with us asking him to), removed the old carpet, moved heavy furniture around, did not damage or dent any walls and cleaned up at the end of each day, taking all the garbage with him. He even came in on the weekend to do work. Matt left the place spotless! The floors look stunning! We had S&B do our stairs a couple of years ago and went back to them for the floors because of the wonderful job they had done on the stairs. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Simon and his team - the best choice we made was to go with them!!!

Simon and his team were very friendly and easy to deal with. Matthew did a great job on changing our old golden oak staircase with carpet runner to dark stained stairs to match our existing floors with white risers and stringers and wrought iron pickets. Simon assured me they could update our old rounded edge tread on the bottom stair and it turned out great! He kept area tidy and clearly takes pride in his work. Would highly recommend.

From start to finish, Simon and his team were fantastic. This was a difficult job due to the angled and open stringer Scarlett O'Hara style staircase, and also due to properly installed tile (heavily glued) and a heavily screwed-down extra of plywood which both had to be removed before a new layer of plywood could be installed to create a professional base. Simon was professional and easy to work. Even when we encountered a few unexpected and difficult challenges, he patiently suggested the options and we problem solved together. When I pointed out a few minor issues during the install, he immediately did what was necessary to correct them. Simon made sure every detail was taken care of including installing felt pads on every single piece of furniture before moving them back into place. The whole team was personable, easy to talk to, professional, and took care to keep everything clean during a very messy install! I couldn' t recommend SB Hardwood more.

SB was highly recommended by a friend and rightly so, from start to finish SB has been very professional, the price was competitive but service was excellent, finished the project on time and the end result exceeded our expectation.

Definitely a five star company! Simon's team has installed hardwood in my entire house. The work was done professionally and fast. Guys are hardworking and very friendly. If in a future I have another house - they will be my choice #1. Good luck Simon and guys!

Simon did a wonderful job with our old worn out stairs and added new railings and trim. What an excellent job…and to top it off he was willing to sell us railing materials at his cost so we could do our railings on our chalet in Blue Mountain. Simon went over and above for us and we would recommend his service anytime…many thanx.
