I called ARS after it was recommended by Samsung as the "authorized" repair facility for my Samsung Washing Machine. I found cheaper repair places, but decided since these machines were highly technical, it will be better for an "authorized" person to test it. ARS came on time as promised and took a look at the machine. I mentioned it wasn't spinning and making a grinding noise. The inspector went on his phone, opened an app and "diagnosed" the washing machine. He said the door locks needed replacing. Quoted me $500+tax and said they offer 30 day warranty on their parts and labour. I mentioned the machine wasn't spinning and even turned it on to show him the issue. He just said "this thing (referring to his phone) tells me what to do, to diagnose it". I went ahead and replaced the door locks myself as ARS was charging over $350+tax in labour for this job, I bought the parts from the same place they buy theirs. The machine still didn't work. Same issue still existed. I called ARS and spoke to Amy their manager, she insisted they did nothing wrong and it was my fault for replacing the parts, because if they did it, it would work. Replacing these locks in not rocket science, it is literally plug and play. She refused to admit they could have made an error on diagnosing the machine. Please be wary about using ARS. If you think paying the extra amount for them being "authorized", I'm telling you it means nothing. Also, expect to get a higher than market average price for labour, that has very poor warranty. They do not stand behind their work and refuse to admit wrongdoing. I don't like to leave negative reviews but I lost $120 in diagnostic fees to ARS and they never adequately diagnosed the issue with my washing machine.

The fridge was not cooling or freezing. Sam feom ARS came right on time, as scheduled. He was thorough and worked out the problem quickly. Our fridge is now working!
