Looking for a honest, professional drywall contractor and within our budget is always a challenge for all for us. I went through Kijiji, talked to friends and family members, browse the internet web sites and found HomeStars.

Great site to see reviews from clients. That site is what decided me to choose Jamie with his team.

After several emails to Jamie, I have hired Jamie’s crew to skim coat and install drywall in my kitchen, dinette area and hallway.

The crew were very professional, extremely polite, knowledgeable in their trade and very easy to talk too and discuss any issues that I had that required their attention.

I am a true believer in letting the pros do what they know best and leave them alone.

They were always on time , kept me in the loop on a daily basis and very enjoyable people to be with.

In a very short time frame, the job was completed and paid for as per estimate.

As a person that like things done well, I did notice some areas that I thought required a second look.

I called Jamie to explain of some areas that required more work and touch up, and he came by the next day.

After showing the areas in question, he fully agreed without hesitation to correct any problems without any extra cost to me. Usually, when it comes to getting contractors back home to fix issues can be difficult.

I cannot say more about Jamie except he is a truly honest individual, hard worker and very dependable. His work ethic is exceptional and I strongly would recommend him to anyone that requires his services.

Jamie really does always answer the phone. I had a small repair job in a rental property to do after water damage and he got someone in quickly and finished right when he said they would. Communication was great all the way through. Would highly recommend him and his team.

I consider myself pretty handy and tend to try my hand at most things when renovating but leave some things to the pros. When it came to taping and mudding our basement, we left it to the pros – and it’s a good thing we did! After some research, I chose Call Jamie Painting & Drywall based on the reviews from this site and I must say, I was not disappointed. Jamie and/or Mike came in on four separate days to complete the work. They showed up on time or advised me well in advance of any changes to the schedule, were clean, efficient, professional and personable. They finished the work on time and on budget. If I had any questions once they had left, Jamie was quick to respond via email. Overall this was a great experience and the final product met all of our expectations. I am quite particular when it comes to choosing professional services and will not hesitate to recommend Jamie and his team (Mike in our case) to family and friends. Seeing as though I benefited from www.homestars.com for my project, I thought I’d return the favour. I know that for me, choosing a contractor can be a daunting task so hopefully this review can help your research and decision-making process. We had Jamie and his crew take care of the taping, mudding and priming of our basement reno. He was was great to deal with right from providing estimates to finishing the job; which he completed on budget and on time. He was also very good at keeping us informed along the way and in addressing any questions / special requests that we had. We would hire him again.

We removed kitchen backsplash tiles to make way for a new counter, but needed the drywall repaired before the counters got installed. Jamie's company was able to come on pretty short notice and did a great job. Yves, the installer, was very professional and courteous to boot!

We recently had Jamie remove the stippled ceiling in our master bedroom and living/dining room. The experience was great! From the minute they arrived Jamie and his crew took the time to properly prepare the area. They covered all the floors, hung plastic over the door ways and covered all the vents. It was nice to see that they treated our house as if it were their own. The work was first grade and took the exact amount of time that Jamie had told us. I would highly recommend Jamie for any painting or drywall work you have to do.

We had a ceiling repaired in our bathroom on the main floor recently. Jamie and Yves did a fantastic job. My wife and I are very pleased with the quality of work and the time taken to do the job from start to finish. After the job was completed they left the site spotless. We would definitely use them again.

I called Jamie and he had a quote for me by the end of the day and someone at my house the next day to repair a drywall section. The quick service allowed us to continue with our project without losing any time. His employee did good work and was very courteous. I would definitely recommend Jamie and would not hesitate to use his services again.

We hired this company to drywall our basement walls. Mr. Burke, Jamie, was very personable on the phone and promptly arrived at the house on the scheduled time to conduct the estimate. He provided a detailed, itemized estimate for the work within a matter of a couple days. The estimate was very reasonable and he arranged to have the materials purchased at his contractor prices and delivered to the basement well in advance of the scheduled work date. He and his assistant showed up on the pre-arranged day and completed the work within the estimated time. The quality of the workmanship was excellent and they were very conscientious in their clean‑up of the worksite afterwards; the remaining refuse was bagged and carried to the curb. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to friends and plan to have them complete further work for us in the future.
