Call Jamie Painting&Drywall

A fantastic job done by really nice, decent people. Floors were covered and taped off as were windows and heating ducts in advance of the work, but there was little mess created during the removal of the stipple. We could not be more pleased with the result - the ceilings look perfect!

Jamie successfully added drywall to the ceiling of a complex basement and to both sides of a new wall.
The total number of 4x8 drywall sheets amounted to approx 16.
All joints were flawlessly taped and mudded and when finished, it was impossible to see where the joints were located .
I have done some dry walling myself and was amazed at the quality achieved by this craftsman.
After painting the ceiling is flawless.
I am very satisfied with the quality and workmanship and can highly recommend Jamie.

I had Jamie in to remove popcorn ceiling in and repair drywall mistakes of the previous owner of my home.

Time to bring the house into this century and the popcorn ceilings had to go.
Pam came to the house and explained to us what Jamie can do for us. Pams professionalism, knowledge, warm personality, and a very fair quote gave us confidence that Jamie was the person for the job.
When Jamie showed up to the house, we first had a walk about to verify the work to be done. Jamie protected all work areas with top grade tarps, taping and sealing rooms and proceeded to start the work on the ceilings immediately.
Jamie practices excellent time management (the job did NOT drag on and on) and has amazing skills and work ethics; the work was well paced and proceeded without stress.to us. The last day, we had the opportunity to meet his son Jackson who came to help wrap up, clean up and remove the specialized equipment that Jamie expertly uses.
At the end of the work, we were left with spectacular results, the work done by Jamie and his son Jackson beyond expectations.
This is a family business, and a very nice family at that; I highly recommend Call Jamie, we will again for the next project.

Jamie hung and prepped the drywall for our backsplash, did a ton of drywall repairs and repainted our trim, walls and kitchen ceiling. He also painted our stairwell and hallway. Responses to emails were always quick and we got accurate arrival times for every day he spent on our project. Service was friendly and courteous, he was very tidy and respectful of our home. He did a great job and we will definitely have him back for more projects.

We were searching for a company to remove the popcorn ceilings from our newly purchased home before moving in. After reading reviews about Jamie, we thought wed give him a try. Wow- we were blown away. Not only did he fit us in right away, he completed the job on time, and left no mess behind whatsoever. The ceilings are smooth and perfect. Jamie is highly professional, personable, and delivers what he says he will. Amazing professional.

Removing wallpaper destroyed our wall. Jamie was quick and professional! Highly recommend. Wall now looks like new.

We had booked another company that bailed on us at the last minute. We later heard terrible reviews from that other company. By comparison, when we called Jamie and Pam, explained that all our rooms were already empty and how we were in a pinch -- they managed to squeeze us in to their busy schedule to remove stipple, and prime and paint the ceilings. How grateful we are that they not only worked through the entire weekend to meet our schedule, they were on time, on budget (fair price even despite a last-minute booking!), and so pleasant to work with. Jamie is a perfectionist. His craftsmanship is excellent. And his
attitude always very positive! We will have him back for a few other rooms in a few months. I highly recommend this family team.

If you are planning to remove popcorn ceilings in Ottawa and if you do not do it with Jamie, it is a crime! Jamie and his son, Jackson, did a perfect job. Our ceiling is perfectly smooth now. We particularly appreciate Jamie for accommodating our situation. We were already moved in with furniture, boxes, etc. We had no problem continuing to live in this house while Jamie was working on the ceiling. We highly, highly recommend Jamie!!
