Gardenzilla Lawn & Garden

I just wanted a small Weeping Mulberry tree pruned because of disease. Gardanzilla was very easy to deal with, gave me an estimate and put me on their list to come when they had a space for an hour or two to fit me in. I only waited a few days. The men were very polite, listened to what I wanted done and did the job quickly, asking me if they had any questions. The clean up was excellent. Then came the price which was very reasonable. All in all a great company to have working for you. Highly recommended.

The company was easy to work with, replying to my e-mail on the same day. The crew who came to do the work were great - friendly and knowledgeable. They did an amazing job of turning our jungle back into a respectable back yard, and they accomplished everything (weeding, pruning, clean up) in half the time I'd estimated. They didn't require any supervision - I simply returned home in the evening to find the job completed.

My backyard was in horrible shape as it had been neglected for over 1.5 years. The weeds covered the entire yard and some were over 6 ft tall! I couldn't see the shed at the end of the yard because the weeds were overwhelming!!! You're probably wondering why did I let the backyard go unattended for so long... that's another story which doesn't belong in this review :)

I contacted Gardenzilla back in June via homestars.com and was placed on their wait list (they were fully booked for the Summer). Around mid-July, Robin, the office manager let me know they could slot me in for late August/September. They provided me with an estimate by using the photographs and yard measurements I sent to them. Robin also stated i could cap the number of hours of work to manage the expense. That was very helpful and thoughtful of them.

Now the wonderful part... the day of the cleanup. Josh and Jesse were AMAZING!!! They were very friendly and professional. Josh, the foreman, gave me a few courtesy calls and provided updates on the progress (I was at work the entire time) and asked a couple of questions for clarifications. I was very thankful for that. When I got home, I couldn't believe my eyes!!!! My backyard was cleared!!!! No more weeds!!! I could see the shed at the end of the backyard!! The gentlemen also cleaned up my front yard. I couldn't wipe the grin off my face when I saw what they had accomplished!! Thank you so much Josh and Jesse for the hard work! Thank you Robin and Mike for being so courteous and wonderful!

My yard still needs lots of work and I will be contacting Gardenzilla for my future projects for sure :)

Word of Advice: Please contact Gardenzilla way in advance if you want to use their service. They are busy!!

I sa a listing for a job position office manager. I went to the website and saw what they o and quickly called up. I was outside the boundaries and they decided to change and I also got a neighbour to sign up

My large back yard looked like a jungle. I was hoping to host a wedding there and had less than 3 weeks. Kaysha returned my call promptly. She was friendly and professional and clearly explained the service and pricing. I decided to sign up for their maintenance program. Their personable crew was able to come earlier than anticipated and returned soon after to do the front yard. They patiently answered questions I had about the garden and flowers I could later plant to decorate the yard for the wedding. My garden has never looked this good! Thank you Gardenzilla!!

Most of the work was done well and on time. Three shrubs died rather quickly and the company has promised to replace them with junipers that may survive better in those locations, free of charge in the fall.

Very responsive to concerns. Reliable. Well priced. Kind and courteous. Office staff helpful and yard staff efficient.

However the management (Kayesha) is very understanding and helpful to send a team or another member of the company (James) to collect it

Garden Zella turned my wilderness of weeds into a lovely well managed perennial garden. Every month through the season they come in and quietly clean up, disappear the weeds, and keep it looking great. At the start of the season they restore the winter ravages and at the end put the garden to bed nicely tucked in. My aging back and knees really appreciate their work.!

They have changed my garden from a disgrace and a worry to a joy where I can sit of an evening, sip a glass of wine and enjoy my surroundings
