I booked this company to spray a knock down ceiling in our newly developed basement, based on the reviews mentioned on this site. The owner responded in good time and I was feeling quite confident that this was going to be a positive experience.
He was half a hour late but texted me to let me know. I watched to make sure things were satisfactory (lights, walls covered) And went up when the poly started to block my access. As soon as It was finished I noticed right away the walls had not been protected properly. Usually a brown paper is taped right close to the ceiling so there is a nice clean line. This was not done and I had the ceiling texture come down 2 inches on the walls. The owner was trying to tell me he could not apply the brown paper as we had not "primed"the walls and it would not stick. This is the 4th ceiling in the last 3 years I have had done and EVERYTIME it has been done at the same point WITH the brown paper. I have also double checked with other companies to review this and they all have said he was being lazy and skipped this step. I am now on day two trying to sand the texture off the walls. I am so disappointed!!!!
