Green Valley Irrigation is a service oriented company. John, the owner is a gem. He is an extremely honest and kind person; a real joy to deal with. Delivering top notch service is John's motto. The reason I chose John to do my in ground irrigation system was because of all the great reviews he receives on home stars; he did not disappoint me, in fact he exceeded my expectations. John and his crew did an excellent job, they showed up on time, were respectful towards me and my property and they cleaned up after themselves. They were also very thorough in showing me how to program the controller and made sure I was familiar with the lay out of the various zones. I called John a few days after the install wanting to make some adjustments, he answered his phone right away. He agreed to come over and make the changes I wanted at no extra cost. He told me to call him any time. I have referred him to my friend, who will be installing her system next April. Thanks John for a great job.

John at Green Valley Irrigation has been taking care of my irrigation for the past three years. Since then he has also installed irrigation systems for three of my family members. Being able to refer John to others is simple since he is honest, dependable, and is always there if I needed anything. I pierced one of my lines once and unbelievably John came by within a day to fix it. Since our family is so loyal to him he didn't even charge me for the fix which I did not expect. John is always on the job on time and by far my grass is the best on the block. Thank you John and your excellent crew for all your hard work and kindness. Keep up the good work. John & his team were absolutely A+ throughout the entire process from the original estimate right through to the installation. When I originally contacted John my grass was looking terrible, he immediately found time for a quick installation within a week. He listened to my exact wants & needs setting up each zone to my exact requirements.

The team was on time, efficient, & made it seem like they were never even here.

The system works fantastic - my grass has never been greener! Whenever I have any issues with the system or want sprinkler heads readjusted, John is easily accessible via phone/text & always gets back to me within a timely fashion.

We searched on Homestars for a reputable company for irrigation system. We found Green Valley to have great reviews and so we didn't hesitate to call John.
He and his staff were great, they came when they said they would and actually called to say they were run a little late from being on another job. They installed a new irrigation system and upgraded what was existing. His crew was extremely efficient and cleaned up after themselves. We were extremely impressed. We called John to come back a couple of times for some minor adjustments and again, he came in a timely manner..
Even more comendable, he called to see how everything was a few days after the install, just to make sure all was working properly!!... Overall, great service, great workmanship and would recommended Green Valley without a doubt!!

I rarely if ever write reviews....but once in a while you run into a service company that deserves all the kudos they can get. You want a reliable HIGHLY competitive lawn and garden irrigation company - call John Nissan. John's company installed our system over 3 years ago...it has worked flawlessly ever since and this year with the weather being very hot and dry our system produced the best vegetable garden we have ever had! John made it that every planter box, every nook and cranny in the garden, everything was sufficiently watered which produced a bountiful harvest. The installation was complicated, the equipment all top notch and name brand ...the price?...cheaper than 4 other quotes....no fancy brochures, no colour flyers, just hard working fellows who came, saw and conquered in one day leaving our property just the way they found it. These guys, John's company, Green Valley Irrigation, are gracious and considerate and I highly recommend them .

There are many reasons why John and Green Valley gets so many great reviews. Simply put- John is very good at this and he DOES care about his clients a great deal. He will visit you on-time, he will give you a very competitive quote, he will walk you through the whole process and explain patiently all the questions (including some dumb ones) you may have. Once you are ready to install, he will install it on-time and make sure the system is working properly and will leave your property undisturbed. he is always available if you need to talk to him or need his help after installation. I knew I wanted a lawn irrigation system, but finding an installer was difficult, because there are so many. I figured I would check out HomeStars and Green Valley Irrigation is right at the top of the list. I was skeptical, so I tried other review sites and Green Valley remained at the top. I figure I would call up John @ Green Valley Irrigation back in late spring of this year to get a quote from him so I could budget a lawn irrigation system into my landscaping projects for this year. John came at the drop of a hat. From the get go I could see that he is very passionate and knowledgeable about his trade. Never once did he try and up sell me on any sort of system or options, in fact the opposite was true. John's motto is keep the system as simple as you can to avoid adding extra zones and thus extra cost.

Once I finally got my landscaping done by late July, I called up John again and he was at my house within a week. He honored his original price even though the scope of work had slightly changed (increased). John told me it would take a day to finish the whole project (I was skeptical I admit, only 1 day?) John and his crew showed up at 7:50am for an 8:00am start time. Who shows up early these days? It's hard enough to get contractors to even start in the same week as you book them. He installed 4 zones at my house and installed the controller as well and was done by 11:30am. I've never seen such an organized bunch of workers. Everyone had their role and the entire job was finished in less that 4 hours.

My system has Hunter PGJ rotor heads in 1 zone in the front yard to water my grass. In the same zone, the flower pots have tiny micro sprays in them to take care of my potted globe cedars. The second zone in the front consists of Hunter PLD drip irrigation hoses in the flower beds to ensure efficient even watering of my hostas, day lilies, and ornamental grasses. The backyard has 2 zones which are made up of Hunter pro-fixed nozzles which take care of the trees, garden, and grass. I can tell you that the system works flawlessly. John insisted in using Hunter products, which in my book are the top of the line anyways, because he doesn't want problems with his work. He also took the time to explain how each zone is piped, how to adjust each sprinkler head, and how to operate the computer. Many times throughout the walk through, John reminded me that if I ever had any questions, I could call him up any time.

I am extremely picky about work done to my house, so much so that it takes a while to find a suitable contractor that I would even let work on my projects. I would rehire John and the Green Valley Irrigation team over and over again. They have got their trade down to an art and if anything is wrong, they will make it right. I hired Green Valley Irrigation to do our lawn sprinkler because of the good reviews here at Home Stars. I was not disappointed with my decision because John was very nice when he came to give the estimates. The work was done as scheduled and his team was very courteous and attentive to our needs. I needed to do some programming changes for time and days and got so confused so I had to call John twice. He was always there to assist me and walked me through the process. At this very dry summer, my grass is the only one in our block that is green. I would have rated this a 10 if not for the email that John promised to send to me which I'm still waiting to receive. John and his team did a wonderful job with our new irrigation system. His team is very friendly and professional. The product is fantastic but the service is remarkable. John always answered calls & texts right away. His team even came by to move a couple of sprinkler heads that were in the way of our new deck, free of charge and with a smile. I would absolutely recommend Green Valley!

I had called John for an estimate on a sprinkler system and he came the very same day. John was able to find a very good solution to the way my interlock is laid down, such that we would only lift a small number of stones while at the same time service both front and back yard out of a single line and the fall service would not cost me double (involved a single pipe system in my basement which would branch off, one on the side of the house for front + side, the other going to the backyard). I have also worked out the removal of all existing grass and installation of new sod throughout (front, side and backyard). The price was more than fair, John has also done a bit extra for free, the irrigation system was tuned to my request (did not want to have water go on the sidewalk) and very good quality grass installed -- all in one day! His team were very professional, hard working and responsive to my questions. They cleaned up the place at the end and everything is looking great right now. John has come by again to show me how the sprinkler system works and even accepted to take me in for service in the fall, even though initially he said he was not able to do it due to the fact that my location is a bit out of his way.
