Reid’s Roofing has just completed roofing my townhome and the townhome of my immediate neighbour. The entire process was an excellent experience – from estimating the job to the finished product.
I particularly appreciated the way Aaron Reid explained the basic components of the estimate as well as the options we could select. He made it clear what the benefits of each element would be and how each would contribute to the finished product enabling our new roof to stand the test of time and weather conditions.
In addition to using quality products, he demonstrated his personal knowledge about the workmanship required to install the roof with such statements as, “We’re good nailers!” This ability is a critical element of the workmanship required to do the work well. And the company’s workmanship warranty was a great benefit – in addition to the manufacturer’s product warranty.
The contract was agreed upon and the work began on schedule – as the weather cooperated. The crew took particular care in protecting all ground areas surrounding both homes as well as moving lawn furniture and plants to less vulnerable areas during the work. The clean up afterward was equally careful with no damage.
Also, I appreciated Aaron’s final inspection of the roof to ensure that the job done met all of his company’s standards of care and workmanship. And my neighbour appreciated Aaron Reid’s evening visit to explain the damage found on her existing roof and the repair work that was undertaken to fix the problem before installing the new roof.
