Having been a client of theirs for over four years, we sincerely recommend HireaMaid as an outstanding cleaning service provider in Durham Region. Due to unexpected surgery in 2014, we were unable to maintain the cleaning of our large home. Although Hubby tried valiantly to keep up with my (our) high standards of cleanliness while I was recovering, it wasn’t long before he agreed to hire professional cleaners.

HireaMaid Durham employs extremely knowledgeable, friendly, trustworthy and dependable staff – from the front-line cleaning crew to the office employees. They are very accommodating when rescheduling services, send reminder email before cleaning day, and keep us posted if the team is running late.
Our HireaMaid cleaning crew includes an onsite hands-on Supervisor (thank you Jacqui) familiar with our home and cleaning expectations. They work alongside and oversee the crew to ensure consistency; and as a result of ongoing skills training at the company location and on-site in our home, deliver high-quality results. This week Jacqui and Kelly were training new recruits Sarah and Jamie – the thoroughness of the service provided was amazing! I'm very pleased to recommend Hire a Maid of Whitby. They've been cleaning my home for the past 3 years or so and I can't say enough good things about the quality of cleaning and customer service that Ashley and her team provide.
They say the true test of professionalism is how a company handles a situation when something goes wrong. About a year ago, one of the ladies cleaning left a foot long scratch on my glass table. As soon as I called Ashley and team to report it, they came out, took ownership of the incident and worked to find a replacement glass top for the table. within a few weeks they found the replacement top, changed it and took the old one away.
The ladies who come to my house are always very polite and courteous.

I am so happy that I hired Hire a maid. I have a large home. Although I had tried to maintain it myself, I realized one morning that I had been extremely unsuccessful and my home was in serious need of professional cleaning. After exchanges of communication with a number of service providers with high homestars ratings, I chose Hire a Maid. I spoke with Tammy who was extremely helpful. On the scheduled day at exactly the scheduled time Kelly Marina and Remi showed up. They worked all day non-stop (except for a short lunch break).
My kitchen cabinets and counters look like new - (they are actually 22 years old). My bathrooms are sparkling. Although expensive, it was worth every penny. I will continue to use Hire a maid on a bi-weeky basis
