Sos Wildlife Control

Sherwin at SOS Wildlife is a pro. He is thorough, competent, and confidence inspiring. He removed raccoons from our property recently, after evicting families of squirrels from our attic a couple yrs ago. I recommend him easily.

One evening I heard the noise coming from the attic and I decided to peek in to see what it was. When I started opening the attic door, I actually felt the weight of an animal being right on top of it. I also heard little noises that sounded like birds, but apparently they were baby raccoons. I proceeded to open the door a little more and saw the mother raccoon. The nest was right on top of the attic door. And it was my mistake to disturb it because right after it the mother moved the babies into a less accessible spot, making the removal much harder. I researched the wildlife control companies and decided to go with S.O.S. Wildlife Control because of the number of excellent reviews and because the technicians seemed to care about the well-being of the animals, according to the reviews. Shervin and Jamie came the same day I called them. They installed a live trap for the mother on my roof above the hole the mother raccoon made. It took her 2 days to eventually come out and get trapped. Then Shervin and Jamie came again the same day the mother got trapped and removed the babies. The mother and babies were released together so the mother saw where her babies were. She then grabbed one of the babies before she started running away. Then in the period of a couple of hours she collected all of them, 5 in total! I was very relieved that no baby was left behind because that was my biggest concern. Shervin and Jamie were wonderful, courteous and professional and I would definitely use their service again...And I would recommend them to anybody who has a problem with wildlife.

We met Sherwin from SOS Wildlife Control while he and Jamie were working at our neighbours house who had problems with squirrels going into their roof. At that time, after speaking with Sherwin we were very impressed with his professionalism and decided to animal proof our house which included all roof vents, roof pipes and side vents. As well, Sherwin placed a metal wrap around the tree branch which effectively prevents the racoons to access our roof. In addition, one location beside our back deck had recently become home to a family of rats. SOS Wildlife Control covered the den entrances with a metal mesh preventing the critters from returning ... no more rats! We are very impressed with SOS (Sherwin and Jamie). Exceptional professional in their approach in all aspects from including animal knowledge, scope of work quotation and high quality of work performed. No hesitation at all in recommending SOS to neighbours and friends.

Recently, we've been hearing noises coming from the roof, unsure of its source, we let it be. However, one night, it got quite loud and there was little to no question that we had acquired a new guest in the house. That same night a call was made S.O.S Wildlife Control and to my surprise, not only was it answered, but an immediate date for inspection was booked. Even on the phone, Sherwin was very thorough in trying identify what animal could be there with possible prevention methods available.

On the day of, a courtesy call was made before the appointment, which was appreciated. Both Sherwin and Jamie had shown up at the agreed upon time and began their inspection. Afterwords, many videos of the damage done to the roof, along with an explanation of what animals may be there and how they entered were provided. After a detailed talk about what options could be taken, we agreed on a full prevention. They diligently got the work done and provided another video to prove the work was completed.

A follow up was done a week later, though it could have been done at our own discretion, to finish the last touches required. They reminded us that all the work done was insured and that they could be contacted if anything else occurred.

Would definitely recommend them to anyone who has an issue with animal infestation and wishes to have a transparent experience. Affordable, knowledgable, friendly and diligent in what they do, you won't regret!

We found Sherwin via homestars to help us deal with removing squirrels in our house and he was spectacular on all levels- communication, professionalism and workmanship. Sherwin and Jamie are both friendly and easy to talk to, and took time to explain to us what was happening in our home. Squirrels had entered via our kitchen exhaust vent and as such were running between the ceilings. of our main floor and upstairs floor. They advised a suitable plan of action (putting a one way door, sealing all potential entry points etc.). Sherwin also warned us that if there are baby squirrels in the house that the mother squirrel would frantically attempt to return, and we would need to allow them time to escape. This is exactly what happened- and Sherwin and Jamie were prompt to follow up on our squirrel removal plan, which although took about 2-3 weeks, was done with humane treatment of animals as top priority. There are no longer squirrels, babies or any other animals in our home and we are also confident that the mesh coverings they installed over any openings/ vents in our home would be provide strong protection from animals attempting to enter our home in the future. We are very pleased with their work and would highly recommend them.

I checked various organizations. They were the best priced. Sherwin was outstanding from beginning to end. My tenants had a pregnant raccoon give birth inside the wall. Sherwin, explained everything step by step. He even went on the roof and video taped where they tried to get in. He also requested they mark the area where they could hear the babies ( he even had a recording of how they sounded). When I called they told me to advise them not to knock because the mother will push them further in trying to hide them. Friday night the mother left and returned unable to get through the one way trap. The mother was scratching at the windows looking for her babies the next day,my tenant was afraid. Sherwin dropped everything and returned back to the house to remove the babies, they were in the exact spot that he cut. He was a former Forest Ranger and had it down to a science. He put mesh over the wall and on the outside. We are having him return to put cages around air vents on roof. My neighbors had to put a tight fence between the house because he had a problem for years that cost them $2500. Raccoons are a huge issue in that neighborhood. I couldn't be happier with the humane way he dealt with it and the speed.

We've been having animal problems in our attic for a few years due to a small gap all along the roofline of our house that makes it easy for animals to get in. I called SOS Wildlife since I've called them before to patch up a hole in our roof where an animal had entered last year. This time, Sherwin and Jamie worked all day to install a wire mesh all along the roof line to prevent further furry trespassers. They even removed raccoon babies from my attic, and replaced the shingles! Truly multi-talented dudes. Highly recommended if you have unwanted guests in your attic!

My and my wife heard something running through our attic one night, and I went outside to our 2nd floor patio to look at the roof, and sure enough there is a raccoon there on top of our house. We looked for a wildlife control service first thing in the morning around 7:30AM and SOS is only one that answered that early. Sherwin and Jamie arrived promptly later that morning around 9AM to access the situation and they were very professional in explaining what our options are and what happened, taking videos of our roof and any damage before, and also after they have finished their work (we opted to have animal prevention wire mashes installed all the vents and roof corners). They also did a follow up inspection a week later when they removed the one way trap door. They also happily answered all our calls afterwards and reassured us, as we are still a little weary about the raccoon (being the crafty little buggers these animals are) trying to get in again.

I was hearing a lot of noise in the attic since moving in. I found SOS on the web and was very impressed with the ratings these guys had so I called them. Talked with Jamie and told him my story and he was very helpful so I requested a visit. Him and Sherwin showed up promptly on the designated date and time and got right to work. Through the week that followed I called them numerous times and they were always very patient, polite, understanding and helpful. After a week they came back and removed the one way door and fixed the hole. Oh and removed the male raccoon that was still sitting on top of my roof. I would highly recommend them. My soffit was removed by a raccoon and I called Sherwin from S.O.S Wildlife Control Inc who responded in a timely manner to replaced and reinforced the soffit and install a one way door and did a full proofing on my roof to prevent any further damage to my roof and I would highly recommend these guys.
