A number of years ago I used this company to re-roof my house. the winter following I had water coming into my living room. Mr Geerts said he didn't put an ice shield on as it wasn't in the contract. I couldn't find my copy of the contract... so I paid him to install ice-shield. After that it was much better but occasionally still had some dampness in one corner of my living room. I wasn't sure why. Later I found my contract and the ice-shield was indeed in the original contract. So he was negligent in installing it in the first place. About 5 years later, the light grey roof was turning black in large patches and the roofer said it was the problem with my house and likely the IKO tiles. IKO rep said it wasn't their fault but mold was growing on my roof! yet I had similar colour roof for 27 years before this one, and i never had mold or black patches on it before. So after about 7 years I had to have my house re-roofed by another company. Apparently the ice shield Mr Geerts installed was only 5 feet wide which was not enough. My current grey roof is great, never had any mold or moisture in the house ( unfortunately that roofer retired since) ; I would not recommend Geerts roofing. 1 star for contacting IKO tiles on my behalf.
