I recently had a patio cover added to the back of my house and had problems with leaks where the patio cover attached to the facia of my bay window where the gutters used to be installed. The patio cover installer ( who's not skilled in roofing) tried his best and felt the problem may be with the roof. He admitedly did not have experience with tile roof

I called several roofers and only Greg took the time to come out and look at the problem first hand. Greg did some minor repairs and trouble shooting. Greg then worked in an advisory capacity with the installer of the patio cover and walked him through the modifications (based on Greg's experience) of what had to be done in regards to the flashing. This saved me money and in the end ... No more leaks!!

Greg was courteous, professional, patient and thorough in his explanations. He was quick to return emails and more important, Greg took a personal and caring interest in remedying my problem.

In my opinion, Greg went beyond the call of duty and I would highly recommend Greg to anyone who is interested.

I read the information on Greg's website and was quite impressed with his honesty. It made sense that using lead to cap off the tile intersections on a roof would last longer than the black substance most roofers use to seal areas that intersect. Problem with that is that the sun bakes it then as it gets weathered down & crack, potential leak is most probable. So while our roof is in relatively good condition (24 yrs old) it was best to switch it to lead caps. Greg was quick to give us an estimate with photos and his crew was very nice and expedient with the installation. Have a read on Greg's website for yourself and give him a call as he is very informative and there is no sales pitch. You can make your own decision without any pressure - just information pertinent to maintain your roof for many years to come. I definitely will pass your name to my friends. Thank you Greg!!

This is our 2nd time using Crucial for repairs. Greg was very prompt returning my call and came by the next day to assess. He reassured us they would fix it & they have done that again.

After hiring 3 roofing companies and none of them were able to get back to me within one week's time (after many phone calls and emails), I decided to try out Crucial Roof Services after reading many great reviews on HomeStars. I sent an email to Greg on a Saturday afternoon and he got back to me within 30 minutes! Now, that IS FAST! He came by the next day (YES, on a Sunday!!) and he looked at my roof and found quite a few deficiencies. He sent me photos of all the deficiencies and repairs that need to be done on the same day. The quote was reasonable (within my budget and expectation), and he came by the following week to get most of the repairs done. One repair was left uncompleted because the part was not in stock which was not his fault. I just want to say the service I received and the work that has been done so far are AWESOME!

After a harsh wet storm we found we had a small water leak near one of the roof's skylight. We called Greg at Crucial Roof Services who quickly ascertained our problem. The leak was due to leaks from a weathered old plastic dome skylight which could not be repaired. Greg installed a superior glass skylight and solved our problem. The new skylight will not degrade over time as the plastic one had.
