Kitchen cabinets and island

After a failed start with a different company, my contractor Stan Boigon brought BCKC Inc into our kitchen renovation. The sales and design lead Josh Naish no longer works there, but his style suggestions totally matched our own. Brian, the owner, took care of on site installation complications, of which there were few. BCKC built entirely new upper and lower cabinets, an island, and cabinetry around the fridge and double oven. We are thrilled with the quality of their product and installation. Problems that occurred were a delayed installation the washer panel and of the topmost cabinet doors (which are a different style), a "too short" counter length design that was corrected to "too long" a length, and one panel that has a funny odor - we're to keep an eye on it and if it doesn't improve, they'll change it. The extra cabinets were made already and BCKC will relocate them to another room. The installation by Dave and (a different) Josh is almost complete. They were punctual and did a great job respecting our new floors. Our project isn't over, so the delay in the top upper cabinets doors and front panel washer isn't a big deal. Brian and BCKC have met our expectations and spent a lot of time answering our questions during the design and install phases.

Approximate cost of services:
$15,000.00
What could this company do to improve their services?
Include measurements in designs for approval. Have all doors available for installation at the same time.
Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
Be sure you get the measurements on the draft plan and measure it out in the space you have available BEFORE you sign off on the job. Survey some kitchen styles and functionality before you start to plan, so you have a concrete idea of what you want (we did).
