I booked the appointment and was told that the estimate is $80. The Service Technician came on time and was
nice and polite. The technician spent a long time to find the problem, finally he said
he needed to change the main control board and the fan, it would take
7-14 days to get the parts and coast $450. I did not agree to do it
right away, so he said I had to pay $138 + tax ($156), not $80
mentioned before. The very next day I found another company, their
technician changed just the fan and the fridge is working. I paid $150
for the part and labor all together. The QuickFix Appliances have
inexperienced workers and mislead clients about the estimate, parts and labor coast.

When experiencing a faulty multiple speeds evaporator fan (like on your model) it is highly recomended to replace also the control board, since both of them are connected together. There is always the option to replace just the fan which in most cases will cause a failure again.
