I have been using these guys for 10 years, rented a Stump Grinder last month and it broke the first 20 minutes i was using it. I took it back and they said they would try and fix it; I hung around the west end all morning and part of the afternoon. They didn’t call. I came across anther one by accident and got it so I could get the work done before the weekend ran out. I forgot all about this, but 7 weeks later they bill my credit card for 4 hours, they stated that I didn’t call to end the contract and that it was my responsibility to track them down, Last I checked the customer is usually the one that get called when something is ready rather than the other way around. He said he phoned 3 times, funny phones now a days have a log of incoming calls, nothing there with their number, he also said he doesn’t normally leave messages??? How idoes anyone know you are calling when you don’t leave a message? When I phoned them back they were rude and said it was more my fault than theirs, they admitted that the Grinder was broken and that wasn’t it they just wanted to bill me since I didn’t call them to cancel something almost 2 months old. Be very careful dealing with Snowbird, they obviously don’t care about long term customers, Document everything and get them to sign off on things!
