National Star is highly professional without being overly corporate. Sokol arrived on time for the free estimate and within twenty minutes handed my wife and I a detailed quote for the full replacement of our shingles. He then sat down and discussed every feature included in the quote, answered all questions and warned us of potential rot damage to the sheeting that would need to be replaced at an additional cost. We chose National Star over competing quotes because, in our opinion, they demonstrated integrity in both their emphasis on delivering a quality product, and commitment to customer service by establishing trust through honesty.
We were not disappointed. Sokol, Alex and several others arrived at 9:00am on a Saturday, shovelled snow off the roof and began working. When my wife and I returned home after being out for the day, they had completed the job. The next day Sokol and Alex came by to go over what they had done and show me pictures of several rotted plywood sheets that they replaced. The replacement was done at no additional cost despite the warning we had been given. The roof looks great and there is very little debris in the yard around the house which Alex offered to clean up in the spring when the snow melts.
We'll be recommending National Star to friends and family should they need a roof replacement.

Hi Michael! We all wish you a quick recovery from your leg injury. It is a pleasure to have had the chance to help you with your roof replacement project. We apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience. In about 50% of the projects, we come across things like rotten wood, metal flashing to be changed or installed new etc. They are necessary to the roof lasting the shingle warranty of a minimum of 40 years, but they also take time. Especially when we do not hire any subcontractors, that work will sometime postpone jobs. That said, we do make sure the roof is patched for the meanwhile until work is to start, especially when it needs to go thru a winter.
