Water leaking in basement when washing machine draining - turned out to be clog in drain in wall

Our water shut off valve stem packing failed and was leaking profusely after shutting off the water for another project. Once I had contacted the City of Calgary to isolate the main water supply I contacted Plumbing Paramedics to repair the valve based on Homestars ratings.
Bonnie in their office was helpful in defining work scope through photographs and scheduling the repair within 4 hours of my call.
Kellen arrived on schedule, confirmed scope of work and cost. Upon my approval he completed a quality repair , tested it and we jointly inspected the final installation before payment.
Paramedics are pricey but the result is worth it.

Had two toilet fill control valves, toilet flappers and a shower cartridge replaced. The plumber Kellen did a terrific job and was very professional. He had a bit of trouble getting the old shower cartridge out, but kept working until he did in order to replace it with the new one. Before starting the plumbing work, he explained exactly what he would be doing and how much it would cost, so there were no surprises. Thanks very much!

Shower was leaking but both Allen bolt and sleeve were stuck. So Tech (Kellan) had to get creative to implement a solution while keeping costs at a minimum. Excellent work and extremely personable.

Kellen did an excellent job moving my water line valves around so that I can easily reach them all. He also upgraded the valves themselves to ones of better quality. Very knowledgable, efficient and respectful of my home leaving it as clean after his work was done, as it was when he arrived.

I needed to change the cartridge on my bathtub faucet. I'd researched it and it seemed to be a simple enough task but boy it sure was NOT. It was so stuck! (original in a 15 year old home)
Kellen was very professional, efficient and honest about what the possible outcome could be - that he couldn't get it out an would need to replace the entire valve which would mean far more time and cost. Fortunately, after quite a struggle he did remove it and I was so happy! The cost was reasonable and that incessant dripping that we've put up with for a long time is gone. It's sure to be somewhat of a savings on the water bill.

I was stuck with an emergency just a couple of days before leaving on an extended trip. A bathtub faucet, '70's vintage, was leaking and I wasn't able to fix it with an easy washer replacement. During the first visit by Devon, despite trying various options, a repair wasn't possible. He went above and beyond to track down a similar model of faucet, so that the interior pipes wouldn't have to be moved when taking out the old faucet. The next day, Kellen came by to install the new faucet, fixing the problem before I left town. Their commitment to getting the work done quickly and economically was wonderful.

I hired Plumbing Paramedics to repair the dual flush mechanism for the toilet at the rental house we were staying in. I selected them after reading all their positive reviews and was very happy that I did. Kellen arrived on time and had the proper replacement part for what turned out to be a very antiquated toilet with near-impossible-to-find parts! Kellen was courteous, personable and had the repair completed in less than 20 minutes!

Believe the other reviews, this is most definitely a plumbing company you can trust to do the job right.

I called Plumbing Paramedics as my hot water pressure was very low. Quick diagnostics revealed that I need a new hot water tank.
