Fortress Windows & Doors

Our entry door was In rough shape and needed to be replaced. I was looking for a contractor that would take care of the whole thing (removal of old door, supply of the new, fixing around the edges, installation of lock etc). After checking out his reviews in homestars I called Steve from Fortress. He was great: came out to review the job, left us some catalogs to review, provided detailed comparative quotes when advised of the options we wanted to consider. We settled down on a very reasonable price (all included) and he deliver the door ahead of schedule with high quality and no surprises. A pleasure to work with!

They are the ultimate in professionalism: meticulous and knowledgeable, taking extraordinary care of my property to avoid damage etc. I had great difficulty in finding a company that would replace only one window but they answered my call and I am fortunate that they did. Wonderful and gentle people.

We had a small front window replaced. When the installers arrived, you couldn't have asked for nicer guys.
The window quality was far better than expected. The inside trim framing was absolutely perfect.
The outside aluminum work was again, better than expected. The installer made the right decision as to size and look. They definitely had an eye for this. The work site was impeccable when they left. I highly recommend the Fortress team.

This is the second time that we have used this company. They came when they said they would, were in and out in a day and left us very satisfied with the detailed work that they did. Having seen a lot of different types of windows in the line of work that I do, the products that this company uses are far superior to a lot of different types of windows on the market and slide/open very easily and are secure. After contacting several Window companies in the York Region area I discovered Fortress Windows. Their warranty is by far the best Warranty, and their prices/ quality and customer service are unbeatable.
I had 6 windows replace in my 1977 home by Fortress a year ago and love them. I have recently decided to replace my large Bay window in my front living room with Fortress because I am so pleased with their product and service. Both Steve"s are great.

Took care to do proper quality job at good value for the money. Definitely well qualified as we had 3rd story that they had no problem to deal with. My place now feel $20k+ more valuable from just over $2k job. Recommend to anyone with aging home to refresh your eaves and soffits and this company would be my first pick to recommend. For anyone considering new windows in their home, fortress windows & doors is highly recommended. They replaced the windows and doors in my house five years ago, and the product still operates the way it did the day they installed it.
