Had great service when purchasing the steam shower. They are fantastic salesmen. Had a professional build and install the unit with much difficulty. They openly acknowledge that the instructions they provide are poor (why not do something to correct that!) We've had nothing but problems with the unit since it was installed. We now have to remove the drywall on our kitchen ceiling due to the unit's poor construction which caused it to flood into our kitchen. The brand new unit which has only been installed since September (less then 2 months) is a HUGE disappointment in many ways (too many to list in the space provided). The end result is that it will most likely have to be removed. We've contacted the store several times and they are washing their hands of us and telling us it was installed improperly...but if they don't offer installation and they admit the instructions they provide are poor then it's buyer beware and we have been had. Please, do yourself a favour and have a custom shower built. Don't go this route and try to save money with Beauty Saunas & Baths. They seem like great people to deal with but when something goes wrong they have an argument and excuse for every thing.

I am sorry you feel you had a bad experience with our product. But I think I should clarify a few things as your review is quite misleading and half truths. As your review is unfair and used as a tool to get something for nothing.
I don’t know why you feel you need to hide your identity in leaving your review, if you really wanted assistance the best format is to clearly identify yourself. Also on your review you say your location is Calgary when you are really located in Cold Lake, AB.
Now to clarify some things in your comments, you say we acknowledge that the instructions are poor. This is not a correct statement… we said that “ sometimes even with the instructions some people still have some questions and that is why we also provide videos showing how to assemble the unit and that we also provide free technical support if you have any questions to help assist you along the way with any problems you may encounter” .
We never ignore ANY requests for assistance or leave any customer without assistance.
About the problems you say you are having with the unit, we discussed these issues with you and your contractor and told you several times what you need to do to assemble & install the shower correctly. We have documented in several emails that from the very beginning before the shower was installed, that we sent both you and your contractor clear instructions how to plumb the shower properly but based on your feedback, your contractor did not follow our recommended instructions and took shortcuts with his install and assembly of unit which are clearly seen in pictures that you sent to us and you refuse to correct those issues, you just insist this is a defect in design of the product and demanding us to pay for removal of your shower and renovations to your home.
How can we as a company be held responsible for problems with a product when you do not follow installation instructions and fail to install the product as instructed in the manual and direct verbal instructions. We have not wiped our hands of your situation we have given you clear instruction as to what must be done. It is up to you or your contractor to follow those instructions.
You complain that we don’t offer installation of the product ourselves and that is why you have encountered these problems. I think our many other 10 out of 10 reviews here on Homestars speak for themselves that there is nothing wrong with our products or our service. These showers can be installed by any layman with ease. Our showers look fancy and complicated but are actually easier to install than a regular shower, But they must be assembled and installed as instructed to perform properly.
